andys' first day back at work

the whole team lined up in between the trucks with their turnout gear in front of them, waiting for their captians' first day back as captian.
once she arrived, they immediately stood up straight and saluted to their captaiin as she walked in front of them.

" WELCOME BACK CAPTAIN" everyone yelled as she walked in the barn.
"you trained some good firefighters herrera" rippley said.
rippley was the one who came and visited andy the most when she was still recovering from her fall. as he was the batallion chief and was going to be promoted soon he wanted to make her the batallion chief and stay captain as well.

" alright since i was gone 4 weeks it's training day i don't know what calls you got when i was away but i did not get good inputs from your captain sub sullivan, so taday training day and when we get calls you go in the car i assign to you and when we get back its back to training no pause only 30 secound breaks for water, we are going to see who can beat me at hose rolling, push ups, burpees, and running, maya you're not participating you are on reception today, i got told you had a rough few weeks since i was gone" andy explained the process.

" really herrera it's your first day back as captain rest" she told sullivan. who know worked at the station full time.
" don't tell me what to do or ill ship you back to the 23 slug squad got it" andy fired back.
" yes captain" sullivan gave in. andy smirked back at his responce. just as she was going to call warm up they got a 4-alarm call/

*******ENGINE 19........LADDER 19..........AID CAR 19******** swellview road house fire.
"engine: miller, sullivan, rippley with me.... aid car: travis, vic.... ladder:jack, warren" andy announced.
" there's is kids stuck in the care home let me climb the ladder and get them" andy said through the radio.
" you sure andy" everyone said back in the radio.
" are you guys questioning my abilities"  andy shot back
" no cap" they said back" good" andy said back calmly

they got there and andy immediatly put on her gear to check the first floor for kids as all the workers were out already." andy carefull" she heard travis say." no garenty trav" she said back jokingly.
