it was a regular wednessday after noon when andy got a call from the fire chief of seattle, chief adrian beogflety, told her that he was coming to give an announcement to the stations and all the stations were meeting up infront of 19 so they needed to be quick to call of the trucks and get their cars parked neatly and wash the beanery as he might want to have a bottle of water after his as he says and i quote ' big announcement'.

when he got here two stations were aready their, 19 were in their uniforms and lined up infront of the open garage door while saluting. the other staions were 54 and 86, two stations that 19 got along pretty well as they  worked in pairs with them in the skyscraper fire, it scared andy to think about the announcement, what if he wanted to introduce a new captain to 19, what if she was demoted to lieutenant, andy was having a panick attack while in line on the stage with the other captains as they all made their way to the station in 15 minutes time.

it surprised andy when the captain of 23 started talking to her as he was 67 and she turned 24 a couple of weeks ago. when the fire chief got here, everyone went quiet and all you could hear, were police sirens, birds, trains, and cars. when the chief told them to ease there stance they all did and he started his speech.

" i gathered you all hear today to show you guys our new batallion chief of 19, 86, 23 ,54, 91, 101, and 07. what happened to the old batallion chief is none of your bussiness all i can tell you is that, he demoted himself to be captain of 61, he gave the chance to a very special, and talented firefighter to earn this honour and raise, as he knew she wanted to be sucessful and her father would have loved to this day come but as he passed on a couple of mohts ago we must take a moment of silence to respect his servation to the fir fighter world, her father was an amazing person, amazing firefighter, nothing stood in his way, when a challenge was brought up he fought to get passed it, but some challenges must slow you down or even break you, as this young womans father died trying to fight his own battles, as his daughter was fighting her own, she had a fall out marriage with robert sullivan, who left her as she asked him if he wanted kids, i have never hired a firefighter that did not want a family, or punched women in the face, when i heard what he did to poor meredith grey, one of  a yound lady's doctor who saved her life on multiple occasions. I fired robert as soon as i could. Now we must get back on track, i present andrea Herrera your new battalion chief." The chiefs voice boomed through the air.

" i want to thank 19 for being there when my father passed on, i want to thank the doctors that spent their time toying to fix me,which they did, i want to thank rippley for demoting himself to let me have this opportunity, i want to thank whoever
Put my name down for this opportunity"andy yelled calmly
