Meeting someone as arrogant as Thea wasn't a possibility until she met Benny.
And there was no figuring out Benny Watts.

Beth: How do you really feel about Benny Watts, US Chess Champion?
Thea looked around at her surroundings, finding herself in a large armchair across from Beth, dress in formal black. Did she have a peacock headband in her hair?
Beth: Thea, the crowd demands an answer!
Thea looked hazily out towards the sudden crowd, staring in anticipation back at her. Did she see Beltik eating kettle corn in the back, cradling Townes who was gnawing on his camera lense?
Beth: Thea?
Thea looked back at Beth.
Thea: Yes, I'm sorry, I must have been spacing off again, you know me! What was the question again?
She took off her ear and the crowd laughed.
Beth: You always remind me of how rude I am to forget putting my limbs in the jar for our great savior Borgov!
Beth twisted her finger off and threw it into the jar.
Beth: Slam dunk! Now Thea, how do you feel about Benny Watts?
Thea: Well besides wanting to have his children, I don't really deserve the way that he used to smile at me. I've messed up too many times.
Beth: But what do you- feel?
Thea: I don't know exactly how to describe it, but he makes me want to live. Not so much as a basic desperation for survival but he's this- this goal I intend to achieve.
Benny: Thea? You just want me as another one of your conquests?
Thea started to shout.
Thea: No! Benny, you make me feel like living the life I am is worth it. You make me feel- giddy?
Beth: Well THATS all the time we have for today folks, let's put all our limbs together and feed them to Borgov!
She gestured towards a giant Borgov, his face twenty times bigger than it should be. His eyes glowed of fire and his eyes green like a serpent.
Beth took the jar of Thea's ear, two legs and Beths finger and tossed them into Borgov's mouth.
Thea saw the walls infrastructure collapse in on her as Beth and the crowd chanted, "Give us another season!" over an over.
Benny: Where are the tomatoes? Where are they??

Thea woke up to the sound of a slight hissing from the pipes in her bathroom, and Bennys voice.
"Where have you been!" Benny shouted, his chain looming over her.
Thea laughed, "I must've been reading a little too late, I apologize. I've had the weirdest dream!"
Benny laughed along with her, "Tell me about it."
He looked at her as if she were the world.
Thea sat up, her apron shedding dust. "It was me and Beth, in this weird talk show like situation right. And she was asking me this question over and over."
Benny placed his hand on her knee, "What type of question?"
Thea ignored him and pushed his hand away jokingly, "You came, and decided to have a fit"
"Makes sense."
"-and Townes and Beltik were dating, I think."
"I don't see it."
"No, no neither do I."
Benny leaned in, "So what was the question Beth had for you?"
Thea sighed, "She asked how I felt about some arrogant chess player."
Benny smirked, "And what did you say?"
Thea sighed, giving in, "That he was the love of my life."
She pulled on his chain so his lips would just hesitate before hers, looking into his eyes she saw lust and hope.
Benny pulled her closer so that their chests were just brushing up against eachother, and he grabbed her face just gently.
He smashed his lips against hers, breaking all the tension. He hoisted her around his heated body so that she could wrap her legs, and he brought her to his room.
Throwing her onto the bed, Thea's mind raced with lust and a need for him. And- was that hissing again?
He looked down at her.
"What?" She asked.
"Nothing, I think it's about time we did this. And let me tell you- I've thought a lot about it."
"Benny?" Thea murmured.
"Yessssssssss." Benny hissed.
"Why do you keep hissing?"
Benny slithered out of her and onto the floor to shed his skin.
"BENNNYYYYYYYY?????????"
"I AM THE ALL MASTER LORD OF THE AMPHIBIANS AND SNAKES BOW DOWN TO ME!!!!!!!!!!"
He was covered in scales. Slimy scales. Still hot tho.
She bowed down and ate a twizzler. "Omg my bad."
"It's okay wanna have sex again."
"Ok."
