I pull the covers off my body and walk into the bathroom for my morning pee. When I get in there, however, I find that I'm wearing one of Blake's shirts. I don't remember changing out of my dress unless...

He didn't! I run down the hallway and make my way into the kitchen. He's lucky it's in the 'off limits' part of the house or it would be trashed.

I find him in front of the stove. "Blake," I say, crossing my arms over my chest.

He looks at me and smiles. "Hey sleeping beauty."

"Did you change me out of my dress?"

"Yeah, you didn't want to sleep in that. You're lucky I let you use my favorite shirt."

I blush. He saw me half naked and he's letting me wear his favorite shirt?

"You want some breakfast?" he asks.

"No thanks. I don't eat in the morning."

"Well, you are today." He sets down a plate off pancakes and syrup.

I groan, sit down, and grab a plate, eating only one. He eats like he's the U.S. is going to go through another depression and we're not going to have food for the next ten years.

When we finish I go to his room and grab my dress. He follows me and goes through his drawers. I turn towards him and a pair of sweats are thrown at my face.

"Your brother would kill me if I took you home without pants," he says.

I pull on the sweats and grab my heels off the floor. We walk out the door and get in the car.

I never realized how close we live to each other. We only live ten minutes away.

"Thanks for everything," I step out of the car.

"Kira," he rolls down the window.

"Yeah?"

"Keep the shirt and sweats."

I smile and walk into the house, watching as he backs out of the driveway.

"Jesus, where the hell were you?" my mother asks from behind, making me jump.

"Jeez, mom, you scared the shit out of me!" I sigh.

"Language," she snaps, then continues. "You had me worried sick. Where were you and who took you home?"

"She was at a party with me and May. We came home because I didn't trust myself with driving her mom, it's not her fault," Kamen comes into the room.

"Who took her home?" She growled.

"Blake Cooper," I mumble.

She glared at me. "I don't want you talking to that boy, you hear? He's bad news, everyone in this neighborhood has told me things about him being the delinquent he is."

"He's not a delinquent!" I defend.

"If he's not a delinquent then why does he have a criminal record? He went to jail for stabbing his brother in the stomach. His twin brother died!"

"Maybe it was an accident!"

"I seriously doubt that Kira."

I scoff and run to Kayla's room, slamming the door shut. She stands up and gives me a warm look.

"Are you okay?" she asks, walking towards me.

"It's mom. When did she start being such a bitch?" I can feel my face turn red.

"Yeah, Kamen and I noticed too. Did you realize that she's been coming home awfully late for the past three weeks?"

"No, I didn't, do you guys think she's working a second job?"

"No, Kira, we think mom's having an affair."

I know, short chapter right? I'm trying to make this story have more humor in it, but if my humor offends you, I'm sorry for that. For the people who have the same humor, I love you.
