Get out. Now.
You feel tears start to form in your eyes as you turn and run out of his room. Your heart pounded in your chest as you ran, tears fogged your vision and your legs just carried you. You just kept running.
You found yourself in the quidditch pitch and fell onto your back your breathing was heavy as you had just ran and were crying. The sun was calming as it fell on your skin warmth flooded your body as you laid there. Your eyes fluttered shut and your body relaxed quidditch was off for the week so you knew nobody would be coming down today. Your entire being felt heavy and you couldn't help but fall asleep.
"Severus what do you think you are doing?"
"I believe it's what they call dancing my love"
"You aren't doing a very good job" you laugh at the sight of him attempting to dance.
"Well maybe if I had a partner I could do better." He winked at you and held out his arm. "May I have this dance?"
Can't take my eyes off of you starts to play
"You're just too good to be true, can't take my eyes off of you"
Severus pulls you close as he sways with you to the music. He smells of old parchment, fire whiskey, and a small hint of smoke. You laugh as he spins you around and apparently he does know how to dance because wow.
He laughs as you step on his toes.
"Just follow my lead babe, like this"
Within moments you two are dancing around the room as carefree as can be. Snape pulls you closer to him as the song ends and holds you tight your hands around his waist and his wrapped around your shoulders as you stand still in a comfortable silence.
"You know y/n I love you too."
Your eyes flutter open to notice the beaming moon and starts staring back at you. The stars have always been comforting to you. Their subtle glow and twinkle can make you feel so at peace. You forget where you are for a moment as you stand up. 'What happened' you think to yourself your head pounding as you start walking back to the castle. You stop dead in your tracks when your memories flood your brain. You and Snape, the doorway, saying you loved him. You start to pick up your pace hoping to get to your dormitory before you remember anything else. Your eyes are glued to the ground when all of the sudden you run into a wall. Or at least what you thought was a wall.
"Why you imbecile, do you even look where you- y/n" Snape snaps as he turns on his heel.
You jump up glaring at him with a hint of hurt in your eyes remembering how he told you to get out.
"Sorry sir it won't happen again." You snap running away from him. It was just too awkward and painful to look at him.
"Y/n wait. Y/n stop right this instant!" Snape yells down the hall.
You don't care however you just kept running all the way back to your dormitory.
You walk into the common room and go straight up the stairs. Callie was up there and she looked worried when she saw you.
"Y/n are you okay? Where did you go? You weren't at lunch or dinner and you missed your classes? What's going on?"
"Nothing I'm fine just a big misunderstanding I promise"
"Okay..if you say so."
"I promise Callie."
You both drop it and go to your beds Callie try's to start up conversation but it all ends rather quickly. You close the drapes on your bed and immediately start to tear up. All you wanted was a hug but not just from anyone from sevy. You two really have never had a fight so not being able to talk to him was heartbreaking plus the way he told you to get out wouldn't leave your mind. He seemed so angry but you could see in his eyes there was more then just anger. You just wanted to be wrapped in his arms you just wanted him. You closed your eyes thinking of him.
You woke up the next morning with red eyes and tear stained cheeks. You got out of your bed and ran to the bathroom as fast as possible so nobody noticed your face. You cleaned up and got dressed, Callie walked with you down to breakfast and when you sat down you couldn't help but look at the teachers table to see Severus missing from his normal seat. You looked around secretly hoping to meet his dark eyes with yours. Unfortunately no such luck. You were eating your pancakes when all of the sudden a familiar voice sent chills down your spine.
"Y/l/n I think it in your best interest to finish your meal and meet me in my classroom as soon as possible." Snape said
"Yes sir" you almost whisper.
"What the hell was that ?" Callie asked
"No idea" you reply and that was not a lie.
You finish up your meal rather quickly and went down to the dungeons to find snape. You were excited yet nervous to see him. You missed him however you did not want him to snap at you again. You came to the large oak door and knocked.
"Enter" snapes dark smooth voice comes from behind the heavy door.
" you wanted to see me sir?" You say quietly
"Yes I did now please have seat" he says as he points to the fair across from him.
"I prefer to stand sir." You say with a sting of anger in your voice. You didn't want to be there you didn't want to see him or be in his presence yet here you are.
"As you wish. I would like to talk about the events of yesterday."
"Sir I don't, not to be rude or anything but I really do not want to be here. I have to go see professor spout and I don't want to be late."
"Y/n please just a few moments" he says as he walks around his desk until he is inches away from you.
"Sir..I- I would like to leave" you say he is looking at you with pain and what seems like desire in his eyes. You had always been best friends with snape so seeing him like this hurt you, however you weren't in the mood to comfort him. He lifts his hand to your face and brushes the hair out of your face and behind your ear.
"Severus I can't" you whisper
"Y/n I'm so sorry for everything that happened yesterday. I miss you and I need you."
"Sev please."
"Y/n" he whispers. He leans in to kiss you and the second your lips touch. BANG
You jolt out of bed and see Callie standing by your bed.
"Shoot sorry y/n didn't mean to wake you."
"It was a dream" you whisper "it's okay Callie what time is it?"
"Time to get up and get ready for classes."
"Oh.."
