His door closed softly as you left his room, it was nearly ten at night and he didn't want you to be in trouble wandering around the halls too late in the evening. Snape canceled his lessons for the day and you skipped the rest of your classes that day. You two stayed next to each other all day. You danced, had tea, watched him grade papers, read next to each other just like an old married couple, and you and him shared some deep kisses.
When the door closed you couldn't help the huge smile that grew across your face. You spun around never feeling happier in your life.
You ran up to your dormitory and hopped right into bed. Of course you had hoped you would be in Severus' bed but that dream would have to wait. You closed the curtains around your bed and huddled under your blanket. You felt something in your pocket and reached to grab it. It was a paper.
You were confused you didn't remember putting anything in your pocket.

You held the paper tight against your chest and closed your eyes and fell asleep.
When you woke up the next morning there was a lot of running around. It was a Saturday so you knew there were no classes you were a bit confused, you tucked the not from Severus under your pillow and got up.
"Callie what's going on?" You asked
"Y/n! Hi! Good morning! It's Halloween silly everyone is getting their things ready for the dance!"
"Shit! The dance! I totally forgot!" You yelled
"Oh no y/n! It's okay don't worry a few of us were going down to Hogsmeade for a couple things you can come with and get everything you need come on!"
You relaxed a little knowing you could go get everything but can't believe you forgot about the dance completely. Granted you had a few other things on your mind.

"Come on were are going to be late" Callie said as she grabbed your hand and dragged you all the way to the great hall.
The hall was packed and the music was blaring. You and Callie met some other people in your house before you ran into Harry, Ron and Hermione.
"Hey guys! How are you! You all look great" you said to them
"We getting along" Hermione laughed "you look amazing as well!"
