As you left Snape's classroom you couldn't help but smile at the thought of what he called you. You approached the great hall just as Harry, Ron, Hermione and Callie did.
"Hey you guys" you said excitedly
"Hey Y/N!" They said almost in sync
You all found an open spot at the table and started talking about anything and everything. Harry has a very persistent thought that Draco Malloy is now a death eater.
"Harry you need to stop saying that" Hermione said as she slapped his arm.
"You know I can see that" you said.
"Thank you Y/N" Harry said smirking at Hermione.
You honestly had a sneaking suspicion about Malfoy for a while and even if he wasn't a death eater he definitely was involved is some sketchy stuff. He was your friend from first year to fourth year and things went down hill at the Yule Ball and it just hasn't been the same since.

(Flashback to Yule Ball)
"Draco? Draco where are you?" You yelled down the corridor. Draco had left to go get you two drinks over an hour ago and being your date and all you thought it was a bit strange that he would leave you all alone. You weren't together or anything but he was definitely your best friend. You continued walking down the corridor when you heard two people talking and? Kissing? People really need to find a room you thought to yourself when you realized one of the voices sounded like Draco.
"No she's not actually my best friend, I just keep her around so I get outstandings in all of my classes, she is actually quite annoying and the only reason I brought her here is so that I didn't walk in alone. She is probably sitting alone right now like an idiot waiting for drinks."
The two voices started to laugh. You weren't going to let this slide so you abruptly turned the corner. Draco and some Slytherin girl you didn't know pulled apart and were very shocked.
"So that's what you think of me? That's why you kept me around and asked me to the ball? I can't believe you Draco you such an ass you know that! I hate you and I can't believe I was actually friends with you!" You shouted and stormed off. You hear Draco yelling your name and he sounded hurt but you didn't care. You went back to the ball and found Callie and danced the rest of the night and didn't let this bring you down.

"So Y/N are you going to the Halloween Dance this month?" Ron asked
"Oh my goodness I completely forgot about that!" You said putting your head in your hands.
"We could go dress shopping next weekend of you want." Callie said
"That would be amazing!!" You said
"Alright well I don't want to be late to my first class DADA and the Potions after that a downer of a morning if you ask me." Callie said
"I have both of those with you!" You said
"Yay! Let's go!"
You walked arm in arm to DADA where you found Snape sitting looking like his normal down self he was quite cute but he never acted like he did when you were alone in class he had his reputation to uphold. You knew how to push his buttons in class of course no offense to Callie but he was your best friend and it made you smile to tease him in class.
"Sit....down and turn to page...three hundred and ninety...four." The class did as they were told and as your professor started talking you cast a simple charm you found in a book a couple years ago. It causes the person to be stuck in place right where they are for a couple seconds. So when Snape tried to step towards the class he found his feet wouldn't move. Nobody really noticed because they weren't paying attention but Severus definitely noticed and sent a glare that would petrify a ghost in you direction and you had to look away to keep from laughing. At the end of class as you were walking out of the room you heard his beautiful deep voice.
"Ms. Y/L/N....a...word"
