When the four of you arrived home things went pretty much the same, Schlatt took Charlie inside while you helped guide Ted into the building. All of you felt weak and tired, as soon as you and Ted made it inside you both immediately sat down on the nearest couch you saw.
After a few minutes Schlatt headed into the main room, he looked at the two of you and let out a sigh, rolling his eyes. "Ted, if you wanna sleep there so you don't have to move, that's fine. But Y/N, at least let me show you to the room you'll be staying in."
Looking over you noticed Ted was pretty much halfway asleep, so he had already taken Schlatt's offer. You gave a nod and slowly stood up, heading over to Schlatt. "Well, lead the way, then."
"Demanding, huh?" Schlatt said with a chuckle, before turning and beginning to walk. "Come on, this way." He said, his back facing you. You followed behind him, holding your bag close to you.
The hallway was pretty dark, though the light from the main room lit it up a bit. There were a few doors in the hall, but every single one you seemed to pass was always closed. Soon Schlatt stopped in front of a door which caused you to stop as well. "Alright, here we are." He said, twisting the door knob and pushing the door open.
He lead you into a decent sized room, there was a pretty big bed, it hadn't looked used since it was so nicely made up. There was a closer and a big dresser with a mirror as well. The walls were a light cream color, while the floor was a light grey carpet.
You looked around a bit more before looking back at Schlatt. "Well, this is.. nice. Nicer than my old room, really." You said softly, before walking over to the bed and placing your things down.
"It's just a spare guest room we've always had, no one ever uses it so we never really touch it." He said with a sigh, leaning against the wall and crossing his arms.
"Well it's nice, I appreciate you guys even giving me a room at all." You said , slowly walking back over to him and giving him a hug.
Schlatt tensed up a bit, you could tell he didn't expect the sudden hug. After a moment he just placed his hand on your back, patting is slowly. "Uhm.. yeah, you're welcome." He cleared his throat, before nudging you off.
"Just get comfortable, alright? My room's at the end of the hallway if you need anything. Oh, and if you don't mind- here in a bit could you check up on Charlie? His room is the one in front of yours." He said with a small sigh, before slowly walking out.
Once his closed the door the room fell silent, you slowly opened your bag and grabbed your things, beginning to sort through them to get them organized. You walked to the closet and began to hang some clothes up.
When all of those were put away to your liking you sighed and sat back down on your bed, slowly reaching into the bag and grabbing the shoe box you packed with you.
It was really important to you, it contained old photos, things from your childhood. Pictures of your mother, your family, but not surprisingly enough, there were barely any pictures of your father. He wasn't a big photo guy, he hated to be 'out there'.
After letting out a quiet sigh you slowly stood up and placed the box in a dresser drawer, before slowly stopping out of the room. You figured now would be a good time to check up on Charlie like Schlatt suggested, the poor thing was probably going to be messed up for a while.
Like Schlatt said, his room was right in front of yours, so it didn't take long before you were opening his door and stepping into his room.
Charlie's room was a bit bigger than yours, though the beds looked to be the same size. The walls were a dark green while the floor was just wood, though their was a grey carpet in the middle.
