"Calm down, sweetheart!" Kasumi said using the knife carefully carving words onto her daughter's skin.
"Mom, please stop!! It hurts!!" Nagisa sobbed out loud, big tears rolling down her face while trying to squirm put of her mom's tight grip but it was in vain.
Her mom chuckled, her head flopping side ways slightly.
Nagisa realized that her mom was drunk by the empty bottles near her when a few minutes ago she had entered the house.
And Kasumi was holding a knife and twirling it carelessly and smiling in a dazed manner while having puffy eyes that were glassy, meaning she was crying.
And the most unusual thing is that when Kasumi noticed Nagisa entering the room, she smiled in such a happy way.
This had never happened before...
"Why are you doing this?!?!" Nagisa screamed feeling the stinging pain and the blood dripping from her left arm, she winced and groaned.
It hurt so, so much...
She looked down to see the words
FREAK MONSTER
Etched onto the entirety of her left arm in a very jagged kind of way.
Why had her mother done this to her..?
She widened her eyes realizing what this meant.
A little makeup isn't gonna cover this up...
How would she continue modeling..?
How can she act and do modeling when her body isn't perfect anymore..?
How can she get more money so she can support her family with large amount of money she would get with her career..?
She would have to wear bandages all the time...
Or worse, be forced to quit her acting and singing job.!!
She looked at her mom slowly to see her looking at her with a toothy smirk.
"You k-*hic* killed two people in our family, Nagisa! Last year you killed Hideki, that poor boy! Now just a few days ago your father died... a-and *hic* it was YOUR fault!"
"N-no!! I didn't do-...!!" She stopped saying what she was saying abruptly because... for some reason the last words were caught in her throat and her eyes went wide and she went back to sobbing again.
