CH-16: NEW COACH

{A/n- Sorry yall but this chapter and the next chapter too I guess... I don't really know.. are gonna be REALLY short... and I don't know how some authors are able to stretch out a single scene into so many words. Like bruh how??? Anyway sorry for the really tiny chapter... }

It was now the next day in the evening, a regular day for the Karasuno team and they were all practicing.

And Nishinoya the second year was there too.

And Nagisa was now walking towards him because she was curious about something and wanted to ask him about it but at that time Tanaka was already there and beat her to asking about it.

"Hey, Noya-san" Tanaka called out.

"Yeah?" Nishinoya turned to look at him and Nagisa stopped in her tracks now listening in on their conversation.

"How did you train while you were suspended?" Tanaka asked.

And Nagisa widened her eyes when Tanaka took the words right out of her mouth.

"Yeah, I was gonna ask you about that, Noya-san" she said and both the second years turned to her and smiled.

Nishinoya turned back to the front while still smiling and said "I practiced on blocked ball retrieval. Specialized training to retrieve any blocked balls! I'm not great at it, but if I can retrieve blocked balls, you guys can go for your spikes without worrying as much"

Nagisa looked at him amazed "you really are amazing, Noya-san! Y-you're such an awesome guy!" She said with sparkles in her eyes as she wore a genuinely amazed, and she actually said it truthfully without flattery.

Nishinoya turned to her and blushed and grinned, clearly pleased and went back to finishing his warmups with a smile on his face.

Until Tanaka suddenly broke out into tears saying "Noya-san, you are just so totally, utterly cool!"

"Why are you crying?!" Nishinoya asked confused.

Nagisa just chuckled at them happily.

This was like that until they were interrupted by a voice at the door of the gym.

"Everyone, I want you to meet someone!" Takeda-sensei could be heard and everyone gathered around him.

"Allow me to introduce you to Ukai, your coach as of today!" The bespectacled teacher said with a smile with Keishin right next to him, looking at the team.

Nagisa widened her eyes and walked closer when she saw his familiar face.

Keishin looked around, nostalgia flooding him as he looked at the familiar gym.

And everyone were very confused.

"Coach?!" The captain stepped closer and said.

Nagisa decided to go get a better look at him so she stepped forward and it was then that Keishin's eyes landed on her.

He widened his eyes and smirked "what he said was true then, huh?" The new coach said and then ruffled her hair "good to see you, Nagi!"

Keishin turned to the rest for the team and confirmed "I'm only gonna be here for the duration of the Nekoma match"

"What, but you're the guy who runs the Sakanoshita store, right? Is he really our coach?" Tanaka asked confused.

"He graduated from Karasuno, and he's the grandson of the famous coach Ukai!" Takeda said while grinning.

"What?!" The whole team except Nagisa exclaimed out loud and Nagisa wasn't surprised like everyone else since she already knew this.

Hinata walked forward and said "but your store isn't named after you, right? I mean sir" He said while rephrasimg his sentence so it would be more formal.

"The store comes from my mom's side of the family" Keishin replied.

He then turned to the rest of the team and said "there's no time! Let's get started! I want to see how you guys play, so we have a match at 6:30. So I called in your opponents"

Nagisa's smile faded when she heard the last part.

Opponents...

She turned to Keishin, to confirm whether what she was thinking is true, and it was.

He smirked at her, the two of them thinking about the same thing.

"O-oponents?" Daichi asked stepping forward, confused.

With a proud smirk Keishin said "the Karasuno Neighborhood Association team!"

Nagisa widened her eyes "Oh no..." she whispered to herself.

By now, Nagisa had understood what was gonna happen.

With slightly gritted teeth Nagisa turned to where majority of the team were and she said "you guys better win, okay?! Or I'm never gonna hear the end of it..." she said glaring at nothing in particular.

Sugawara who was confused, walked closer to her and asked "w-what's wrong, Satchan?"

Nagisa sighed and said "well... I guess, you'll see what's gonna happen..."

I'm for looking forward to the twenty-first chapter lol...

I haven't finished writing that draft yet but I have an idea of what's gonna happen...

And ur gonna have to wait a while to read that but...

U better look forward to it because the drama and the meaning behind that drama in that chapter is really something else ☕☕ ...
