CH-3: THE SECOND SET

The second set started with Ennoshita serving the ball to the other side which the other team was successfully able to send back towards Tsukkishima which he was not able to receive properly but still it went towards Kageyama who tossed it to Hinata and just the second before he was going to toss it the orange haired decoy Nagisa nibbled on her pencil and said "the toss is too high..!" And she was indeed correct, the toss went over Hinata's head leaving him confused

"That's amazing, Nagisa-chan! You were able to tell that" and Kiyoko nodded impressed and Nagisa merely laughed sheepishly, happy about this praises she was getting.

"Now let's move on to counter attacking!" Kageyama said loudly to his team to which they all nodded to.

Now Kageyama was going to toss to Hinata but the other team was thinking that the toss was going to Tanaka but we're proved wrong when they saw Hinata spiked Kageyama's toss.

And this left the other team as well as the other people watching the match to be baffled "so fast!" They all said aloud. "Hmmm the-freak-toss-and-spike huh, I like it!" Nagisa thought to herself while grinning excitedly.

And Hinata seemed amazed at the fact that he was able to hit it and at that moment he turned around when the captain called him, he went over to where the rest of the team were and saw that they were huddled together in circle, he went over to them and put his first in the centre like everyone else and exclaimed "woah i-its like team spirit!"

"It's not like Hinata, this is for real!" Tanaka told Hinata with a confident smile, being the amazing senpai he is.

Now Nagisa had this odd feeling of satisfaction when seeing the other team's reaction and she concluded that she was gonna have this feeling a lot "I wonder how he is gonna react when he sees this!" She said thinking about a certain tall brunette while wearing a smirk on her lips.

But she stopped smiling immediately when another boy with grey eyes and cinnamon brown hair came into her mind "Hideki-niisan would have been amazed too..." she mumbled under her breath with a small and sad smile on her face at the thought of him. And she immediately stopped herself from thinking about him as it brought back sad memories.

She shook her head and put her full focus to the game again.

And so the boys kept doing their thing earning themselves points.

Kageyama was about to toss Tsukkishima which he was able to spike properly and when he did Tsukkishima looked at his hand then at Kageyama and said "your tosses are too accurate that it gives me the creeps"

"What the hell did you say?!" Asked Kageyama loudly which resulted in Kageyama and Tsukkishima getting shouted at from Daichi.

And Hinata laughed thinking "hahahah!" Now it's your turn to get scolded!" And somehow Kageyama who seemed to have read Hinata's mind and  saw him laughing and immediately went over to him and started shaking Hinata's shirt which led to him being scolded again by the captain.

The boys were able to successfully get more and more points in the match which led to the score of

Karasuno : 24

Aoba Johsai : 22

People couldn't believe that they were able to have match point against Seijoh.

Kageyama was getting ready to toss to someone but the Aoba Johsai members couldn't figure out who he was going to toss to, they saw Hinata running and immediately went to try and block it but the ball wasn't there where Hinata was and that was when they noticed that the toss went to Tanaka which he was able to send to the other side of the court which led to a point to the Karasuno boys earning them the second set.

And now Nagisa was really happy for them since they all seemed so happy.

Nagisa looked at them then towards the other team while frowning "something's not right" she said to herself. She looked back at her team and said again to herself "we shouldn't let our guard down!" She looked over at Kageyama and she knew that he was thinking the exact same thing.

She then noticed that he was indeed saying something.

She moved closer to him to hear what he had to say "I don't think we should let our guard down. You see I don't think that their setter is their official setter" but the rest of the team couldn't really hear him as he finished he sentence as it was drowned by the sound of doors being opened dramatically and the sound of girls squealing.

Everyone turned to see a male the height of about 184 cm talking to his coach saying "don't worry it's perfectly normal now coach, it was just a sprain!"

"Oikawa Tooru the captain and official setter for Seijoh" Nagisa said aloud to her team which made them all face her with confusion in their eyes as though questioning her about how she knew that and their faces quickly turned into a scowl when they noticed that she was having a smiling face.

And the team just couldn't put their finger on how she was smiling like that, it was somewhere in between a sassy smirking face and a gentle and caring smile.

Well either way Kageyama said "yeah exactly what Sato-san said. He is a force to be reckoned with. He is an amazing player but... His personality is terrible, even worse than four-eyes " he finished as he pointed at Tsukkishima who just looked at him in annoyance. And Hinata said "wait if even you are saying that then his personality must be absolutely terrible!"

And at hearing that Nagisa scowled slightly angrily and grumbled and sat back at the benches with her arms crossed in front of her chest.

She did not like that they were saying stuff like that about Oikawa.

Well, to her, Oikawa was one of the kindest people she had ever met, his only downside was that he can be extremely childish and playful.

To her at least...

"Yeah  that's what I said dumbass!" He said to Hinata then turned towards the rest of the team and said "he was also my senpai at Kitagawa Daiichi"

"so if he was your senpai and your 'the King' than he is 'The Great King?!" Hinata said.

And at that moment Oikawa turned towards Kageyama and said "hey Tobio-chan it's been a while! How have you bee-" he stopped abruptly when his eyes landed on the dual eyed manager of Karasuno, who was also looking at him.

So many thoughts were flooding his brain as he looked into her eyes.

And the two of them were just staring into eachother's eyes for about two seconds when Oikawa pulled himself together and exclaimed putting his arm over her shoulders squeezing her tightly "my my Nagisa-chan how beautiful you've grown! I didn't expect you to be here. Hahaha! And you still look like you're twelve!" he finished with a chuckle.

She smiled at him and said softly "hey Tooru how've you been! You've certainly grown!" She said smiling gently.

He squeezed her to himself tighter, pushing her to his chest, though it was a bit too tight and she was unable to breathe properly. She patted him on his shoulder which was a sign, telling him that he should let go of her so she could breathe again and so he did.

"Hey what do you think you're doing with our manager?!" Tanaka asked angrily at Oikawa pressing Nagisa against his chest, again not allowing her to breathe.

"Tanaka-san, let me go please" she gasped and Tanaka let her go while glaring at Oikawa as he went back to his side of the court with a smirk on his face.

And now Nagisa was wondering how the rest of the match would play out now that the best player of Aoba Johsai came out to play, and she couldn't help but smirk at that thought...
