CH-18: WANNABE ACE

Nagisa just stood there staring at the ace of Karasuno as his teammates were congratulating him.

Still in a daze after seeing him smack the ball to the ground.

She then suddenly turned to the other team—to Hinata when she heard him say "I don't have his height or power, but I still fight... it's my turn now!" And hearing him say that made her smile.

As Ennoshita received the ball Nagisa scowled slightly...

She knew that the team's receives still need a lot of work and when she glanced at Keishin, she could tell that he was thinking the same way.

Now Kageyama set the ball to Hinata, and knowing where this is gonna go Nagisa smirked.

Once Hinata had slammed the ball on the other side of the court after doing us quick she looked at Keishin who was staring at Hinata and Kageyama with a confused look on his face.

"Nice, Hinata, Kageyama!" Nagisa cupped her hands around her mouth and said to her fellow first year friends.

As Nishinoya had just complimented Hinata (who was very happy at hearing  that) Keishin suddenly yelled out "hey!"

Confused, Hinata looked at Keishin "why did you jump there, Shrimpy?!" And at hearing this new nickname that Hinata just seemed to get, she couldn't hold back a small snigger.

"B-because the toss will come to wherever I jump"

Keishin just continued to stare at the two first years when he suddenly yelled out "What's the matter with you guys?! Are you freaks?!"

"What?!" Both Kageyama and Hinata said while pouting.

"Freaks, but why?" Hinata mumbled to Kageyama who mumbled back a "don't know"

"I was so preoccupied arranging the match so I didn't understand what he meant..."

At first when Nagisa heard that she was confused at what he meant but then she realized he was talking about what Sugawara said before the match had begun.

"I guess that first year setter is what you call a genius. He can't be compared to a normal person, But... the timing of that toss and spike... that's only possible after lots of training and time. But you can't build up that necessary trust overnight. If that first year setter has amazing talent, that other guy is more trustworthy and dependable"

Nagisa continued puting up the points for the match when she glanced at Keishin and was confused when she saw that he was smirking in a somewhat evil way.

He then clenched his fists and said aloud "Karasuno is pretty good right now!"

"Why didn't you tell me sooner, Sensei?" Keishin said to Takeda slapping him very hard on the back.

"I did tell you, repeatedly"

As the game continued on Nagisa along with Kiyoko put up the points until it was now the second set with 24 to 19 in Karasuno's favour.

Asahi was now ready to spike the ball but Hinata suddenly came in front of him, and the ball did touch Hinata's fingers, however it was not strong to block it and it just hit his hand and went flying off.

Hinata was sad that he couldn't block and kept on apologizing to Daichi.

And she too was pouting, when she noticed that he had to work more as a middle blocker.

Nagisa was watching as Kageyama was teaching Hinata on how to block a ball properly but Hinata didn't seem to listen by how he kept staring at Asahi.
