Harry flicked his wand as he cried out the summoning spell.
"Accio book!"
"No, Harry," Draco said, his hair shining in the moonlight, making him even more gorgeous, "you're not supposed to flick your wand. You're supposed to twirl it."
"Like this?" Harry spun his wand around in circles.
"No. Allow me." Draco stood behind Harry, one hand on his waist and another on his arm. His breathing made Harry's skin tingle.
"Now say it again."
"Accio book!"
This time, the Herbology book that was lying in a tree flew straight at Harry's chest, making him fall over Draco.
Harry was on top of Draco's chest. He felt his cheeks burning.
"This is nice, isn't it Potter?" Draco asked, chuckling a little.
Harry laughed.
"Yes, Malfoy. Now get off me."
Draco got off of Harry and took the book out of his hands.
"Well, you've mastered the spell on small and medium sized objects. Since I don't have any more things, could you help me with Herbology?" he said.
"Don't you have a tutoring session tomorrow with Neville?"
Draco sighed. Harry noticed a hint of sadness in his voice when he spoke again.
"I know, but I want you to give me a head start. If I fail, my father would kill me."
Harry agreed and sat with Draco on the grass.
"So what do you know about Herbology?"
"I know that the Dragon plant can catch flies," Draco replied.
"Anything else?"
Draco went silent as he snuggled up next to Harry.
"That's what you're supposed to be helping me with, love."
Love. Harry liked the pet name.
"You mean you don't know anything else?" Harry asked, surprised.
Draco nodded into Harry's neck.
"Gosh, no wonder you're failing." Harry held Draco's hand and stroked his knuckles as he explained to Draco about plants.
"Muggle plants and plants from the wizarding world are two totally different things. Most Muggle plants aren't able to speak or make sounds and it's extremely rare to find one. Our plants, like the Mandrake, are able to be alive or dead, or even both. Do you understand what I'm saying, Draco?"
"Mhm," Draco murmured.
Harry lifted Draco's chin and saw that his eyes looked sad.
"What's wrong?"
"Nothing," Draco muttered quickly.
"Don't lie to me, love. Your face says it all."
"I swear. It's nothing."
"Draco..."
He sighed sadly.
"I'm just worried for you. The first task is in three weeks and all we've practiced is 'accio'. Is it wrong to be nervous for your boyfriend?"
"Of course not," Harry replied reassuringly, "it's just that you don't have to be nervous for me. I may not be the best at this kind of stuff, but I'm not the worst either."
Draco placed his head on Harry's chest.
"You're amazing, you know?"
"You too, Draco."
Harry woke up, lying on the grass. He wondered where he was for a moment until he suddenly saw an amazingly beautiful face sleeping peacefully on top of him.
"Draco! Wake up!" Harry screamed.
Draco jolted awake so hard that he hit his head on the tree trunk.
"Potter! What was that for?"
"We fell asleep for who knows how long! Get up!" Harry exclaimed.
Quickly, Draco and Harry got up and ran to their Common Rooms. When Harry got to his dorm, he checked the time and gasped.
It was eight forty-five, which meant that he was fifteen minutes late for Charms.
Harry grabbed his bag and threw anything he could find into it, not caring what it was as he rushed down the corridors to the Charms classroom.
He knocked on the door before entering. Everyone stared at him as he walked to an empty seat next to Lavender. Professor Flitwick looked him up and down.
"Mr Potter, can you explain why you're late?"
"I overslept," Harry replied quickly, "I'm really sorry, sir."
Flitwick stroked his chin in thought.
"I would've let you off, but since you're fifteen minutes late, I'm afraid I can't. You'll be staying after class. I'll tell Professor McGonagall so she doesn't punish you for being late to Transfiguration," he finally said.
Harry sighed as he rested his head on his hand. Flitwick carried on with the class and was teaching the students how to create a small explosion. Harry didn't even bother trying as he said the spell.
"Bombarda."
The glass ball didn't explode into pieces.
Harry was extremely tired and exhausted from training with Draco for the first task and schoolwork. And, on top of that, he had to keep his and Draco's relationship a secret.
Why was life so complicated?
When Harry finally left the class to go to Transfiguration, he found Neville waiting for him by the Charms door.
"What are you doing here? Aren't you supposed to be in class?" Harry asked, confused.
"Harry, we-we need to talk," Neville stuttered, leading Harry to a dark corner.
"Is everything ok?"
"Harry, I woke up and went to the Great Hall to eat breakfast and-and..." Neville didn't finish. He had a look of surprise and worry on his face.
"And what Neville? You can tell me," Harry said reassuringly.
"I saw you curled up with Malfoy by a tree."
Harry couldn't move. Draco already told him that Zaibini knew about their relationship, but now Neville? It was too many people.
"Look, Neville, what you saw might have been a hallucination and-"
"Harry, it's ok. I don't care if you're gay. Or with Malfoy."
Harry was shocked at this response. He looked at Neville's face to find any hint of him lying, but he just looked calm.
"Harry, if you don't want me to tell anyone, it's ok. I-I won't." Neville pretended to zip his lips.
Harry gave him a warm smile.
"Please don't. I don't want anyone to find out. Zaibini already knows."
"Zaibini? From Slytherin?" Neville shuddered a little.
"Yes. But don't worry. He's nice."
"Ok..."
