CHAPTER 8: What Are You Doing Here

Torvi's Point Of View
Someone was knocking on my door at three in the morning and of course it had to be the day after I find out that I'm pregnant that someone wants me so late.

"What do you want it's -" I stopped midway throw my sentence when I saw Bjorn Lothbrok standing on the other side of my door.

"What are you doing here Bjorn, I thought we where over." I asked him not wanting him to find out my secret because I don't even known how I'm going to tell my family, friends and work that I'm pregnant and that I'll be going to the doctors office tomorrow to find out if I'm really pregnant but I already know the answer to that and it's yes.

"Well I'll tell you that if you let me in and Torvi I never said anything about us being together again." He said before walking in and not caring when I tried to stop him but he just kept walking all the way to where all three pregnancies tests where sitting.

"So your pregnant, and the baby's mine, can I ask you one question are you going to keep the baby?" He asked and I knew that there was no way in hell that I would be getting read of my baby.

"Yes, Bjorn. I'm going to be keeping the baby and I'm only going to ask you once do you want to be your child's father or are you going to walk out that door and never look back?" He grabbed his stuff and walked to the open front door only to drop it all off to the side and shut the door, which was him telling me that he wants to be the father of our child.

"I'm staying Torvi and there's nothing you can do about it nor anyone else." He told me before walking into the lounge room and grabbing my blanket and pulling me onto the lounge with him, only to fall asleep instantly.

Bjorn's Point Of View
I watched as Torvi slept on my chest and for the first time since being back I've felt happy and even in love but I'm still not sure why I'm here I mean Margrethe called saying t hat somethings wrong with Torvi but nothing seems to be wrong. I picked Torvi up and walked around her house looking for a bed to put her in, once I found one I put her in it and walked back out to the lounge room but first I went to the kitchen and looked at the three positive pregnancies tests, a part of me feels bad but not because I'm going to be having a child but because I didn't tell my mother that I was leaving but most of all I feel great because I've always wanted to be a father and now I get to be and with Torvi that makes things 100% better.

On the phone

"Hey Bjorn I just want to know if where going to be going on a date or if where not because you never seem to want to be there and I don't want to make you date me." Gunnhild said into the phone and I knew that she's been crying and that after this conversation she'll probably cry some more but I can't help who I fall in love with, but I know that the person I'm in love with is sleeping in her room while being pregnant with my child.

"I'm sorry Gunnhild I just don't feel the same way and I'm going to tell you this so you don't get more hurt from hearing it from someone else I'm in love with Torvi and she's carrying my child so there is no way that I'll be leaving her we can try and be friends if that is what you want but I will respect your choice either way." I knew that telling her that Torvi was pregnant would either make her under stand or do something crazy but either way as long as I'm around nothing will happen to Torvi and my child.

"Okay well thanks for telling me Bjorn and we can try to be friends soon just not right now, good bye Bjorn."

"Bye Gunnhild." Then she hung up and I heard Torvi in the bathroom voimting her guts up so I left my phone on the bench top and walked into the bathroom to hold Torvi's hair.

"Are you okay?" I asked as I rubbed her back and kept her hair out of the way.

"Yer I'm fine now, I'm going back to bed come with me?" She asked and I knew that there was no way that I could ever say no to Torvi even if it meant me having to leave her alone for the rest of her life.

"Okay, come on then." I said pulling her up off of the floor and then walking back to her bed room to go to sleep.
