1 month and half later
Katie was in her bathroom throwing up, "Hey Katie do you want us to take you to the hospital?" Sage said
"Really you've been like this all week." Lorna said
"No I'm fine. It's just stress." She said as she walked out of her bathroom.
It was finals week for them and then they were home free for two months. After her second period it was just her and Parker sitting in the quad.
"So you don't think you could be pregnant?" Parker said as they are their chicken salad sandwiches.
"Parker.." she whispered
"What? I'm just saying you are the only one who hasn't had their cycle since we got back. Remember we all got ours two weeks ago." Parker said
Katie looked down and closed her eyes. "Maybe Parker." She said in a low tone.
"Come on we don't have another class today. We can come back and get them." Parker said
They went by CVS and bought some pregnancy home tests. She took four of them and all of them said pregnant. So Parker took her to Planned Parenthood and they did an ultrasound for her.
"Oh Katie..." Parker said when she looked on the screen.
"Looks like you are having twins. Fraternal twins as they are on in their own sacs. Does twins run in one of the families." The ultrasound tech said
"The dad is my older brother. And yes our two older siblings are twins." Parker said
"You are due mid to late January." The tech said as she wiped the gel off Katie's stomach.
Katie took home the ultrasounds and the prenatal vitamins they gave her. As they were leaving she texted Bucky.
"We need to talk."
"I'm in meetings and have to train my new recruits. I won't be able to talk till 9. Everything okay?" He replied back
Katie stared at her screen as tears fell. She couldn't answer so she just left it alone till he was able to talk to her. Bucky checked his phone once the meeting was over and he still had no response.
"Katie? What's wrong?" He sent in another text.
She ended up throwing her phone across her room. She began to cry till she fell asleep. Around 9 her iPad started ringing. She saw that it was Bucky calling while she did her homework.
"Hey.." she said in a low tone.
"Well it's nice to know you are alive. What's wrong?" He said
She bit her lip and looked down. "Bucky I'm pregnant.." she said
Bucky choked on the beer he was drinking. Once he regain composure he sat back down.
"Did you just say that.." he said
"Yeah.." she said as she held up the ultrasound.
"Katie..please tell me that I'm not seeing things. That's two babies.." he said
"Yeah I know." She said
"You haven't told anyone yet? Of course you haven't I would have gotten a phone call by now." He said
"Parker knows cause she was with me." She said
"Okay well don't tell anyone else. I'll try and get some leave time and I'll come to you. We will tell them together." He said
"Okay." She said
"Katie,it's okay. I didn't have condoms with me." He said
She shook her head as tears fell. "I'll see you soon. I'm tired and I need to call my higher ups and you are doing homework." He said
"Yeah." She said
"Bye Katie bug." He said as they hung up.
