Car ride go woooosh

The trio got in Alicica's car and waved goodbye to Felicity as they drove off.

The car ride was gonna be a good 2 hours so as per usual, Tristan started talking with Lavender.

"And then they denied my request for an Uno card deck" Tristan complained.

"How cruel" Lavender replied before they both laughed.

"Hey, you guys wanna stop at kfc or somethin?" Alicica asked as Lavender nodded.

"I'm not getting anything, you go ahead" he said as Alicica pulled up to the driver through.

Anyways they got bunch of fried chicken. Alicica went to a grocery store for a bit so yeah.

"Tristan, you wanna try this?" Lavender asked as she held up a piece of chicken.

"I told you, I'm good" Tristan said as he shook his head.

"Just a small bit?" Lavender asked as Tristan sighed.

He grabbed a small bit of chicken while lifting his mask slightly, just enough for him to eat it. He immediately put it back on of course.

"Huh. I was hoping you would take it off or something" Lavender said, disappointed.

"Well, wanna see a thing I can do?" Tristan asked as she nodded.

Crimson tears began spilling out from Tristan's eyes and onto his mask. Lavender backed away and slowly realized that the streaks on his mask were not just decor.

"Christ on a bike" Lavender said quietly as Tristan laughed.

"Relax! Not like it's blood!" He said while laughing.

"What is it though?!" Lavender half screamed half asked.

"Don't really know, but for sure not blood" he reassured.

"Hey I'm back! I got some pop tarts for later!" Alicica said as she hopped back in the car.

They drove for another hour until they made it back home.

Aaron opened the door, unsurprised to see Tristan waving.

"Alice, you can't just keep people in your house" Aaron said as Alicica pouted.

"S-sorry sir, I'll go look for somewhere else if you like" Tristan hesitantly said, stuttering on purpose.

"No no, it's fine, I already got the guest room bed ready, just get in the house" Aaron sighed. "I made fairy bread"

The 4 sat down eating fairy bread. Tristan passed saying that he just ate, he instead watched some cartoons.

"Gotta say, I understand now why so many people ship BH x F" Tristan commented and Lavender shrugged.

"Hey isn't this just a little reference to Villainous from Cartoon Network cause Betty just discovered it?" Lavender asked.

"I'm watching this for the show, not 4th wall breaks" Tristan replied.

"She probably feels so bad for writing short chapters"
