Presley's POV-
"Where is he?" Dylan's dark voice asked the woman slowly.
"Dylan-"
"Where the fuck is he?" His voice raised in barely kept fury.
"Dyl-"
"Where the fuck is my father at, Sydney?" He cut her off again.
I personally was a bit confused. I had no idea who the woman was, but due to Dylan's anger, I figured that it wasn't anyone good.
"What is going on out here?" I heard the male voice accompanied by annoyed footsteps.
I had already known that it was Dylan's dad before I saw him. My mind connected the dots rather quickly when his dad opened the door even wider and took a protective stance behind the pregnant lady... It was certainly his baby.
"Dylan?" Steven, Dylan's dad, asked incredulously as he gazed at his son.
"Your fucking receptionist?" Dylan growled. "You fucked your receptionist and tore your whole family apart over a younger woman's pussy?! Not to mention, losing your law firm because of it!"
My eyes went wide at the anger that was in Dylan's voice. I had only ever heard him like that one other time when we were leaving my house and he was dealing with Brad. Was that how it was now? His father was reduced just as low as Bradly in his mind now... I didn't really blame him.
"You don't speak to me like that, boy," his father interjected.
"And here you are trying to act all high and mighty!" Dylan laughed sarcastically. "You tell me to watch my emotions, yet here you are living with her while you have a whole ass family not even half an hour away. You are a fucking joke!"
"Maybe we should go inside to talk about this," I said lowly as people began to step out of their apartments to see what was going on out in the hallway.
"Good idea!" Sydney, the pregnant receptionist lady that Dylan's father was apparently living with, said quickly. She ushered all of us in with a scared expression on her face the whole way to the living room.
When we finally got to the large room, I put my hand on Dylan's arm slowly. I felt his muscles ripple quickly as he tried to contain his fury at his dad. He just stared at the man with hate and disdain. I didn't blame him for his reactions, he literally betrayed his whole family by screwing this woman that was closer to our age than his own.
"Would anyone like a drink?" Sydney asked awkwardly.
No one said a word to her as Dylan and his dad stared each other down.
"You're disgusting," Dylan finally spoke in that same dark voice.
I couldn't believe that I found myself enjoying that dark voice. I had never seen Dylan look so fierce... so hot. I took a breath, trying to calm my hormones down. They were obviously triggered by my daddy issues. I didn't need to think about things like that during a serious moment like the one that was playing out before me.
"No wonder Nick invoked the Morality clause of your contract!" Dylan scoffed. "You were fucking your subordinate!" His voice continued to get louder. "Did he make you do it? Threaten your job if you didn't spread your legs for him?" Dylan asked the lady, who was extremely close to crying all of the sudden.
"Shut your fucking mouth!" Steven bellowed.
"It wasn't like that," Sydney answered at the same time.
