Walking the tight rope

Uncles Arrival

When I answered the door I found Alucard standing in the door way with his giant suit case.  He wore a long red trench close and a black suite underneath, his long curly black hair rested on his broad shoulder.

“Beautiful night huh shiki” he said with a smirk.

“Hello Alucard please do come in” I say as I move out of the way.

He walked into the house as Mr. Fujishiro stood up as soon as they saw each other the room became heavy with tension and I stepped in between them.

“Alucard this is my P.E. teacher Mr. Fujishiro, Mr. Fujishiro this is my uncle Alucard”

They muttered greetings to each other both glaring at each other.

“So Mr. Fujishiro will you be staying here for dinner”

“Yes as long as it’s ok with you shiki” he said with a charming smile.

“Tell me Mr. Fujishiro what is your relationship with Shiki” asked Alucard with a glint in his eye.

“Isn’t it obvious she’s my fiancée” he said as he pulled me toward him and held me close.

At this Alucard growled and his eyes turn from brown into a bright red as he resisted attacking him.

“When did this happen shiki” he asked me through gritted teeth. 

“I was hoping to wait to tell you later but it happened yesterday” I say glaring up at Fujishiro.

Fujishiro only laughed and held me tighter unaware of who he was pissing off. You see Alucard isn’t a normal human he’s a demon who lives off human blood but don’t call him a vampire he hates being called that and even Fujishiro wouldn’t live through an attack from him so I would have to protect him.  “Come on Fujishiro we need to go have a talk” I say as I pulled him up to my room.

He followed me happily up to my room and I closed the door behind me before turning to face him.

“What do you think you’re doing? “ I snapped.

“I was just telling your Uncle about our engagement” he said as he sat on my bed.

“Why did you do that I don’t remember agreeing to it yet”

“You say that now but I know we will be married one day” He said as he pulled me into his arms.    

I sighed letting him pull me in close and just rested my head on his shoulder feeling exhausted. He held me close and gently rubbed my back, I found myself relaxing in his arms and for a while I just stood like that before pulling back, walking toward  the door.

“Thank you but we need to get back downstairs well talk later tonight ok?” I ask him.

“Sure that’s fine as long as I can share the bed with you this time” He said with a smirk as he followed me. I blushed bright red as I walked downstairs to where Alucard is waiting for me.

“Shiki how long will you make me wait until I get a hug from you” He says as he pulls me into a tight Hug.

I punched him in the gut but he blocked the attack with his hand as I pulled away from him.

“I told you before I hate hugs” I say as I go into the kitchen to get the food.

“Why doesn’t she like hugs?” Stein asked Alucard with a confused look.

“It is a story she will have to tell you later on since it is not my place to tell her secrets” He said with a serious face. At the same time I was coming out of the kitchen with the food and started to set the table, at the sight of me Mr. Fujishiro dropped the subject and helped me set the table. I thanked him before sitting down to eat, they both sat next to me as I dished out the food which consisted of Ham, corn, mashed potatoes and dinner rolls. I ate in silence as Alucard told me all that had happened since we last saw each other, Fujishiro tried to keep up while he ate his food asking questions in between food.
