Walking the tight rope

Luca comes to school

I swear under my breath before hitting the off switch on my alarm clock and climbing out of bed. I hop into the shower and try to wash off some of the fatigue I am feeling after the whole ordeal. It helps a little as I get out and dry off before looking in the bathroom mirror. Sure enough Rin’s eyes are where my eyes should be, so I put some green contacts in so that no one will be able to see the difference. Then I go back into my bedroom and change into my school uniform. Then I gently put my laptop into my school bag along with Luca’s papers so that later in school I can finish putting is new information into the database. Once this is done I grab my bag and walk out of my room and run smack dab into Crow, I mean literally run into him. He was wearing a white tank top and black mesh short, his hair was mess showing that he had just woken up, along with the fact that he had been rubbing his eyes when I ran into him.

“Sorry, Mr. Crow I didn’t see you there” I quickly apologize as I try to ignore the fact about how muscular and how adorable he looked with his messed up hair.

“Its fine shiki I had just woken up myself, I needed to ask you where the bathroom was” He said while stifling a yawn. I try not to show any emotion as I point him to where the bathroom was before hurrying downstairs so I could eat breakfast then head out the door. He is not cute and you don’t fan girl over guys you try to avoid them or else you will or he will just get hurt I chanted to myself as I tried to push images of Crow out of my head as I walked into the kitchen. When I walked into the kitchen I found Ahri pulling Fresh homemade cinnamon rolls out of the oven and putting them on top of the stove to cool down a little before icing them.

“Good morning shiki” he said happily with a stupid expression on his face.

“Good morning Ahri and what’s gotten into you this morning to not only make cinnamon rolls but have such a dumb expression on your face” I ask curiously as I sat down at the island counter that sat in the middle of the kitchen.

“Now don’t tell James I said this because you know how jealous he gets but this morning when I woke up I saw that Crow guy he must have just woken up or something but he looked SO adorable I just wanted to eat him up. So I decided to make something before I did something I would regret later on.” He said with a cheerful smile that made me in turn smile back.

“I see well Mr. Sunshine while you were checking Mr. Crow out did you by any chance see Luca get up or anything.” I ask as he pours me a glass of milk.

“Luca yeah he’s sitting in the living room watching TV, he said he had trouble sleeping so he wanted to watch TV until you woke up” Ahri explained as he finished icing the Cinnamon rolls and handed me a plate with 2 on the plate. “Do you want me to go get him since the food is ready anyway?” I nod as I bit into one of the cinnamon Rolls. He walked out of the kitchen to go get Luca and a couple minutes later Laura walks into the kitchen as her stomach growls loudly. She looks at the cinnamon rolls then at me with large puppy dog eyes, I just laugh and nod. She grinned before grabbing a plate and dishing herself some food. Not long after this Ahri, Luca and Crow walk into the room, Luca is quiet as he sits next to me while Ahri tries to flirt with Crow but only succeeds in pissing him off. I get Luca a plate before I finish eating my food and drink the rest of my milk.

“Well Luca you have 2 choices today you can stay here and spend the day with Alucard or come with Ahri and me to my school the choice is up to you.” I tell him calmly as I try to ignore Ahri and Crow, he thinks for a while before saying

“I want to go to school with you shiki but does Ahri have to come with” he asks looking over at Ahri with a distrustful look.

“Don’t worry Luca I will make sure he doesn’t do anything stupid” I say with a reassuring smile before looking at the time. “Come on Luca let’s get you ready though”. He finishes eating then I lead him upstairs so he could get ready, I went into one of the storage rooms and pull out one of my old tomboy outfits and hand it to him. He takes it and went into his room to change I double check to make sure I have everything while he changes. Once I am done I look up in time to see Crow heading my way, I look over to Luca’s room and mentally send him messages to hurry up but to no avail.
