Walking the tight rope

Fun in the woods

Walter slowly pulls the car into the driveway before turning it off and hurrying to get out so he can open the car door for me. I slowly step out of the car and start walking toward the house with Tykki trailing behind me.
"Oh and princess I felt I should warn you that Ahri has an invited a guest over, a mister Fujishiro, I believe his name was" he informs me as he opens the door to the house. I sighed I knew he would pull a stunt like this after the whole ordeal with the skirt earlier this morning but keeping Judith's words in mind I remain calm and walk into the house.
"I see, walter I want you to keep everyone out of the woods for today while I take care of the little problem out there." I say taking off my black boots and walk toward the stair case.
"Understood your highness" he replies bowing before going to check on dinner preparations. I get tykki settled  in his own room working on some homework before going into my room to change. I decide to go with a soft prussian blue v-neck and some tan cargo shorts, I toss my uniform into the laundry hamper before making my way down to the livingroom where everyone but luca was hanging out. Ahri was sprawled out on the sofa wearing some gauze and watching TV same as Alucard who was reclined in a black lazy boy chair sipping something that looked like wine. Dr. Silits was sitting in a blue arm chair that had a matching foot rest, which his feet were on, while he read the newspaper occasionally glancing over at Crow. Who was sitting in a large red bean bag chair typing something onto his computer and occasionally taking sips of coffee out of a black mug. All their attention however turns onto me when I walk into the room, once I had their attention I began to speak,
"I'm stepping out into the woods, while I'm in there the woods are off limits until I come out. I have to take care of a small nuisance and I don't want anyone coming and getting hurt while I take care of it, is that understood?"
"Awe but Shiki I invited someone special over just for you" Ahri says with a cheeky sly grin that makes me want to wipe it off his face.
"Ahri let me remind you that you are only here right now cause you are useful but if you continue to overstep your boundaries I'll have no choice but to send you back to the demon world" I say with a cool icy stare that makes him freeze and look away. I smile before turning and exiting the room before any of the others began to say any more annoying things. I walk outside and up to the edge of the trees not bothering to wear any shoes I slowly make my way up to the very edge. I stop just shy of entering it as I slowly raise my hands up to shoulder length as two matching silver pistols appear in my hand. The metal cool to the touch as I wrap my fingers around them long silver chains form from the butts of the guns and ran down to connect to the back of my pants.
"Let the show begin" I whisper to myself before walking into the dark fog filled woods. A few feet into the woods small black needles zoom toward my face. I barely manage to dodge to the right and fire a couple shots. The shots connected but they weren't serious enough to stop the beast before me. A large brown cyclops demon stood before me its left arm bleeding from two holes where I shot at him. Its skin was a ugly mustard yellow and it had thick patchs of brown hair covering its body, it wore a thin brown cloth around its crotch area and carried a large club with spikes protruding out of it. It stood around 9 ft tall and its muscular arms and legs all had strange markings on them that allowed him to fire the spikes at will. Its large crimson eye focuses on its bleeding arm before letting out a ear piercing shriek of rage. I use this as my chance to launch myself up so I could latch onto a low hanging branch before swinging my body up to a higher one. I had barely grabbed onto the second branch when the cyclops started to charge at me its sharp yellow glowing in the faint sunlight as he roared at me. I hook my legs onto the branch before hanging upside down on the branch and fire at the cyclops hitting him directly in the center of his head. His body soon turned to dust but all the commotion he had cause had attracted his other friends who were hiding in the woods. I smile and fire a few more rounds thining out there numbers before dropping down to the ground as the poisoned spikes hit the soft wood with sharp thuds. I flipped in mid air so I could land on my feet, once my feet hit the soft soil I sprint left and begin to fire away at the large hoard of demons. I jump and flip out of their line of fire occasionally using some of them as spring boards to propel me up into the air. I revealed in the sound of bullets hitting flesh and bones and the bitter sweet Cry's of agnoy before there bodies turned to dust. The smell of blood and smoke filled my nostrils as I soared through the air above them. My iriss had long since changed into a crimson red as their blood splattered onto my clothes and body. Their blood burned as it seeped into my own woods but instead of feeling pain it only have me more adrenalin to fight with. After I had finished off the last one I sit down at the base and lean back against its rough bark. A gentle breeze runs through the forest and carreses my sweaty face as I slowly calm down. I let go of the pistols and watch them disappear before looking up at the leaves. I watch them rustle and shake in the breeze while I wait for my eyes to change back to normal so I could head back. Eventually they become there usual green color and I make my way slowly back to the house and out of the now quiet woods. As I walk I think about exlirating the kill was and how much engery I have when I begin but once its over the crash leaves me feeling like I had gone and died and not them. When I finally reach the forests clearing and am able to see the house I spot stein and Luca having some tea while sitting on the deck. When they finally notice me they both drop there tea cups onto the ground where they shater on impact.
"Hey, those are expensive tea cups don't go breaking them just cause I have a few minor scratches. Now clean up your messes" I say annoyed before hurrying up into my room before either of them could ask me any questions. I go into my bathroom and lock the door behind me before slowly getting my bloodstained clothes off of me. I turn the shower on full blast with hot water so the room becomes nice and steamy before slowly climbing in. The water burns and stings my fresh wounds as it slowly cleans them. Since they were quiet shallow they were healing quiet quickly and soon they just become a thin white line on my skin just like the other scars that wrapped around my body. I took my time in the shower not wanting to face stein just yet, I've decided that I don't want to be with him but that doesn't make it any easier to just avoid him especially when he can so easily awaken parts of me that I try to keep hidden. However I couldn't hide in the shower forever so with a loud sigh I turn the shower off before climbing out and drying off with a thick white towel. I slip on a white robe to wear as I walk into my bedroom and over to my closet. After looking through my closet I settle on wearing my silver and white silk flannel pajamas. Once I was fully dressed and had run a brush through my hair I make my way downstairs hoping to run into Luca first so I could see how his first day of school was and to settle any of the fears he may have. Sadly tho when I reached the bottom of the staircase Stein was already standing there waiting for me and I knew there was no way to avoid him.
