You woke up in your bed. Thank god you didn't drink, you could not have a hangover today. You rolled over and picked up your phone to see a text from Joon.Joon
- Get ready. We're going out today. ❤️And that you did. You rushed out of bed when you realized the text was from 20 minutes ago. It took Joon 20 minutes to get to your house.
What you wore ⬆️
To say you were nervous was an understatement, but to say you were confused was not. You didn't understand why you felt so discombobulated. You already went on a date with him. You just didn't really know your choice yet.
Once you finished getting ready you decided on seeing how you felt in the moment and going from there. A terrible plan, since you weren't that type of person, but a plan nonetheless.
Before you knew it you were sitting next to Namjoon in his car.
"I feel like I haven't seen you in forever." He complained, pulling out of your apartment's parking.
"You missed me that bad huh?"
"Oh, it was terrible. I couldn't seem to get you off my mind." He took your hand in his and pressed your fingers to his lips. "Glad I get to see you now though. I was scared that I was gonna forget what you looked like."
"Oh shut up."
The two of you drove past the shops and restaurants, past the tourist attractions and the gardens to the art district. Namjoon pulled the car up to the parking lot of an art museum.
"Wait Joon, this is a public place. How are we supposed to go on a date in a public place?" You questioned.
"Don't worry about it, beautiful." He got out of the car and opened your door for you.
You walked up the stairs to the main entrance of the museum. It smelled like jasmine as you entered. You followed Joon past the ticket counter and into the floral exhibit. Flowers hung from the walls and ceiling. It was like a different world. The smells that mixed together and the colors that blended in your peripheral vision. You stopped walking, overwhelmed by the sights. You looked up spinning slowly, too immersed in the atmosphere to notice Namjoon looking at you. Soft music flowed from somewhere, a woman sang something about stars as a man harmonized with her softly. You felt Namjoon take your hand. He turned you toward him.
"Come on, we're gonna be late." he pulled you through the room to a door covered in black flowers. He fished around in his pocket for the key. You both stepped through the door into a dark room. You could no longer hear the soft music as the door closed. It was too dark to see anything three feet beyond Joon so you followed him to a seat.
"What is this place?" you whispered. It wasn't evident that there was anyone else in the room, but still.
"An art exhibit I wanted to go to," he whispered back. He turned his head towards you and grabbed your hand. He bit the inside of his cheek, the way he does when he's angry.
"What what's wrong?" His eyes examined your face.
"I like you too much."
"You're weird." He kissed your temple as the music started up. A stage was lit with the set of a courtyard. in the middle of the stage sat a woman in a white dress.

"So, thought's on what just happened?" Namjoon placed a matcha latte in your hand.
"It was definitely something." you giggled.
The performance He had brought you to ended up being a Romeo and Juliet retelling with modern rap music. The both of you were in tears by the end. you almost got kicked out from laughing too hard.
"I know we didn't get a lot of time to talk because of the show, but I don't think can wait any longer to be honest." His lips pressed to a line as he sat. "it's embarrassing to say, but I've been restless thinking about what your answer is."
Now was the time to make the decision. You should have thought more, or at all really. What did you think was going to happen. If you couldn't make a decision then why would you be able to make one now?
"What's up, tell me what you're thinking."
"I'm thinking that I should have thought more." You sipped your drink, looking at the table. "I don't really know what to tell you."
"That's fine I guess. I uh I just... I don't know." he sighed. You grabbed his hand.
"What's the point in taking it slow. Ya know? We like each other so let's be in a relationship. We can't date like normal people."
"Making valid arguments pretty girl." he shrugged. "I just want you to be comfortable."
"I'm comfortable when I'm with you."
"Does that mean I get to have you?" he leaned in.
"Nobody will be 'having' me, but in other words yes."
"I'd kiss you right now if we weren't in public." his hand rested on your leg. "Should we go to my place?"
"I haven't finished my latte."
