So far Vaughan and her friends were having an awesome vacation together in Mission City. Decepticon activity has been at an all time low since the Autobots rescued Vaughan from that warehouse.
She couldn't get her mind off it. Just what were the Decepticons up to? It wasn't normal for them to be this dormant for so long. It made Vaughan worry. What if the Decepticons were planning something big? What is their game? What is Soundwave planning?
She was snapped out of her train of thought as the cart she and her friends were sitting in on the "Tipsy Turny" ride made a sharp turn, making her friends laugh while she made sure not to ram into the side of her seat.
Vaughan and her friends decided to go to the carnival today. It was only in town for the weekend, so they decided to make the most of it and go. Even Spike, his now girlfriend Carly, and even Bumblebee decided to tag along. While Vaughan and her friends took the bus there, Bumblebee drove Spike and Carly to the carnival to meet them there.
She looked over at the next cart to see Bumblebee, Spike, and Carly, laughing their heads off. She was glad that everyone was having a good time. They had been at the carnival all morning.
But Vaughan just couldn't get all this puzzle pieces of Project Remix out of her head. Remix has been dead for millions of years, and for the last 18 years now, she... Vaughan, uh, Remix, has been living as a human through reincarnation!
Would she still be called Vaughan when this is over? Would she change her name to, or back to Remix?
"Why so glum chum?" Josh hollered.
"Hmm? Nothing!" Vaughan yelled over the wind that blew in her face. "Just thinking."
"We're on vacation! Let loose, what's there to think about?" Andrew asked as he made the cart spin.
"More than you know." Vaughan thought.
Once the ride slowed to a halt, everyone proceeded out of their carts and walked to the exit. Vaughan shook her head to stop herself from getting dizzy from the ride. She hated that feeling.
"So, which ride are we going on next?" Daphine asked.
"Sorry guys, but we have to go." Spike spoke up, showing off his watch. "It's time to go pick up my dad."
For the last few days, Sparkplug was away on a business trip in Texas. Vaughan face palmed herself. How could she forget?
"That's right! His plane lands in a few minutes!" She groaned. "Alright, if we leave now we can still make it to pick him up."
"Aw, can we just go one more ride? Vomit Comet's line is a lot shorter now!" Josh whined.
"We can go back for it later Josh, we have to go!" Vaughan stated.
"Then let's split!" said Bumblebee.
*******
The drive over to the airport was a bit squeamish to say the least. Since Bumblebee only had 5 seats and since there were six human teenagers, it was kind of cramped. Carly had to sit on Spike's lap who both were in the front passenger seat while Vaughan sat in the driver seat, and Daphine, Josh, and Andrew all sat in the back.
"We should be right on time to pick dad up." Spike predicted.
Once Bumblebee pulled up to the building, all of the teenagers poured out, allowing Bumblebee to transform into his robot mode as they proceeded inside.
Once they were at the arrivals section, people were already starting to wander into the room from the gates. After a few minutes of searching, Vaughan spotted her uncle, wearing a blue suit as he dragged along his suitcase behind him.
