"Why?! Why did you do this to me?!" Spike yelled.

Spike's mind was transferred to the robotic body of Autobot-X, Sparkplug's very own creation. Originally, Sparkplug designed Autobot-X to allow an Autobot's mind to be transferred into him while their real bodies were being repaired.

But considering Spike's terrifying accident back at the Rocket Base, it was decided to test it on a human instead, for Spike's sake. But right now, Spike didn't seemed to be taking it too well. He was going out of control, smashing anything and everything in his way.

"He's out of control again." Sideswipe muttered as he and his brother Sunstreaker ran into the room. They both charged ahead, grabbing Autobot-x, or Spike's, arms and holding him still. "Come on!"

"Sideswipe! Sunstreaker!" Spike cried.

The poor boy used his new found might, tossing the twins to the side as they both crashed right into a wall.

"This is getting way out of hand." Vaughan spoke with concern.

"He must be stopped." Optimus concluded as he brought out his laser gun. "Use low power. If the body is destroyed, Spike might be lost with it."

The Autobots took aim after lowering the damage on their blasters. They open fired, small sparks going off along the Spike's new robotic body. He staggered forward before collapsing to the ground. When they thought it was safe to move, Sparkplug and Vaughan ran over to him.

"Spike! Are you--"

"Dad..."

The two haulted when he spoke, freezing in their tracks as the robot looked at them. "What... What's happening to me?" he asked.

"Please, try to see reason." Vaughan pleaded.

"We did what we had to do to save you son." Sparkplug explained. "You'll only stay in this body until the doctors at the hospital fix your real one."

"Yeah..." Spike staggered up to his feeet slowly, placing a hand on his helmut. "I guess you did what you had to do. But..... It's hard.... to think! Like something is telling me to do bad things!" He slammed his fist to the floor, the vibrating causing Vaughan to lose her balance and fall backwards on her behind. Spike gasped, shaking his head before reaching out to the girl.

"It must be a side effect of the mind transferr." said Wheeljack.

"Sorry about the outburst." he apologized.

Vaughan looked at the robot who was now her cousin. She nodded with a small smile as she allowed him to help her up as Optimus neared.

"Spike, Sparkplug, Vaughan, some of the other Autobots and I are needed back at the Rocket Base. We need to help repair the damage we caused during our battle with the Decepticons. Meanwhile Spike, every comfort will be provided for you here." Optimus explained.

"Phew, thank you Optimus." spike nodded.

*********

While some of the Autobots stayed behind at the base to try and continue their normal lives, Spike was still trying to get used to the fact that he was a giant robot now. Well, temporarily anyways. To keep his mind off things for a while, Vaughan came up with the idea of watching a movie while Ratchet continued his work on fixing Bumblebee.

Wheeljack connected Teletraan-1 to a movie channel that played old black and white movies. Vaughan sat on her robotic brothers shoulder as the two decided to take the time to spend some quality time together. The two of them really haven't spent any cousin to cousin time together since she came back.
