You reply to Armin's message and you close your phone, choosing to ignore the other notification.

You tried recollecting all of the times Armin and Mikasa have mentioned Eren so you can piece everything together since you're still trying to understand what exactly is happening and why. You're not trying to interfere with their drama, but if Eren is trying to go in between your relationship with Armin, then you won't hesitate to do something about it.

Going back down memory lane, you realize how vague they get whenever they talk about Eren, indicating that they were probably in denial like Armin said he was. Keeping his feelings bottled up until he finally snapped when he came across Eren a few days ago.

The first time you saw Eren face to face, him and Armin's interaction seemed kinda awkward and unnatural, but you just thought that was because everyone was drunk. That was what you assumed a few days ago as well, but that doesn't seem like the case after all.

Now what's getting you confused is why Eren is so bitter towards him because even though they aren't in the best of terms, Armin has never sounded spiteful whenever he talks about him. In fact, each time you recall Armin speaking about Eren, he always talked highly of him.

You let out a loud groan as you plop yourself back on bed. It's noon and you feel yourself get a headache from all of this. You're not worried because Eren followed you one some measly social media app. It's his intent for going out of his way to follow you in the first place that's making you feel queasy.

After taking a few more minutes to clear your mind, you open your phone again to check Eren's profile. It's private, but you can see that he's mutuals with a lot of your friends, including Armin and Mikasa.

Your curiosity suddenly got the best of you when you hit the "follow back" button before your mind could catch up with your actions.

Well, fuck it. Who cares.

He accepts it right away and you start to stalk his account. Most of his posts are just him smoking and skating, but there's this one picture that caught your eye. Armin has shown the same picture before, and it was just him, Mikasa and Eren when they were younger. He had multiple pictures in that one post and as you scroll, the other pictures seem to be recent. The date said it was posted almost a year ago.

There's nothing special about the pictures besides that it's just their younger selves, but it's the caption and comments that drew you in.
