Hours later when Izuku woke up his entire body hurt. He could feel the substance drying and crusting to his thighs. Tears again streamed from his eyes down his face. He slowly and gingerly pushed himself off the couch wincing and sobbing at the pain every little bit of movement caused. His legs gave out once he tried to put his full weight on them. He landed with a soft thud and a cry of pain. Izuku wrapped his arms around himself and sat there crying, his body shaking from the heavy sobs for a good fifteen minutes. Finally his mind returned to him and realization hit him.

Izuku pushed himself up off the floor holding on to the couch until his legs got the strength to hold him. He quickly looked around the trashed room, before setting a look of determination on his face. He found his clothing where they lay then put them back on. He made his way slowly to the bathroom and took some leftover painkillers from a month ago when Bakugo had cracked his ribs, sitting on the toilet for a few minutes. Once they kicked in and some of the pain ebbed he got to work. Izuku made his way to the closet in the hallway being extra quiet. He retrieved two large suitcases from this closet, along with a sleeping bag and travel pillow. Being completely quiet he went to his bed room gathering all his clothes from the closet and dresser. He froze when he heard Katsuki moving around in the bed behind him. When the noises stopped he peered over his shoulder releasing a breath he didn't realize he was holding. Izuku then gathered his jewelry box, and makeup from the dresser top, packing it in the suitcases. Next was his bathroom supplies and the first aid kit from under the sink. He quickly snatched his laptop phone charger and wallet from the office/library.

Once everything was packed he went back to the trashed living room. Izuku found the photo of him and Katsuki on their wedding day, ripping the picture in half. He then left the torn picture and his now discarded wedding band on the kitchen counter. With his luggage in tow he left the condo without even looking back, taking the elevator to the garage. He put his things in the trunk, sleeping bag and pillow in the back seat then left. His bag with his wallet, phone, and laptop in the seat next to him.

Izuku had no idea what he was doing or where he was going; he just knew he needed to leave. He's first thought was Todoroki, his best friend and boss, but he remembered that Todo had left on business just that morning. The same was for his next best friend Uraraka, she and her husband Iida had gone on a weeks long vacation and wouldn't be returning for a few more days. That left Tsuyu and Fumikage but they had their new baby, he couldn't go there. His mother was traveling the countryside with her new husband so that wasn't an option. Izuku's eyes filled with tears again, he had no were else to go. So not to cause an accident he pulled his car over to the side of the road and just wept for some time. After about half an hour the tears dried up and a thought came to mind, it was a stupid and crazy idea but he really didn't know what else to do. So he started his car and began to drive again, it was only twenty minutes later when he was parking on the street. Izuku grabbed his bag from the seat next to him, pulled his hood over his head to hide the blood matted hair at the back and walked up to the house. He was worried about waking the house's occupant. It was two in the morning after all but once he was close enough he heard sound from inside. Taking a deep breath he cast his face down to hide as much of his face as he could, then raised his fist and knocked.

Izuku had to knock three times before someone finally heard it. He flinched, as the door was flung open. His small body was shaking and he didn't know if it was from the cold, his nerves, or fear of being sent away. "Who the he..." Kirishima cut himself off when he noticed the person at his door. "Oh hey Mido, where's Bakubro?" Kirishima asked, looking down at the smaller male in front of him. "I n... need your h..help, but Im n..not sure you'll b..believe me." Izuku stuttered out a sob following. "Why wouldn't I believe you?" Kirishima asked confused, that's when he noticed the smaller man shivering like crazy. "Come on inside and explain Mido" he stated flatly.

Kirishima stepped back to allow the smaller man inside. Izuku took slow tentative steps inside of the house following behind Kirishima who led him into the living room. "Hey who was at the door Kiri?" Mina asked from her place on the floor. Mina and the other two people who occupied the living room looked up from the video game that was paused as they waited for Kiri's return. "Oh hey Midoriya" Both Mina and Denki said at the same time, Jiro just looked at them. Izuku fidgeted with his fingers, getting more nervous. He hadn't expected his husband's entire friend group to be here. "This was a bad idea. I shouldn't have come here" Izuku said that was when he made the mistake of looking up at the red head and his friends. "HOLY SHIT! What happened to your face?" Kirishima screeched his eyes wide as saucers and mouth agape. Izuku flinched away from the man taking a step back. He looked from the red head to the other three before whispering "Kacchan" then took a deep breath expecting them to laugh or scoff at him.

"No way. He wouldn't?" Kaminari more asked then stated. "See I knew this was a bad idea. I'll just go." Izuku whispered before turning and heading back to the door. Before he got more than a few steps a body was blocking him. He looked up again with tears in his eyes. Kiri stood in front of Izuku and he reached out and put a hand on the smaller man's shoulder. "You said you needed my help, and I'm your friend so I'm going to help," Kiri said. "T...thank you Kiri, y...you don't know how m...much I needed to h...hear that" Izuku stuttered then stepped forward and hugged Kiri. Kirishima hugged the greenette back, his heart rate rising in his chest. "This all you brought?" Kiri asked motioning to the small bag. "No, I t...took everything." Izuku stuttered looking up at the redhead. Kirishima put out a hand "give me your keys" he said. Izuku dug his keys out of the pocket of his hoodie and handed them to Kirishima. "Mina, Kami go bring in Mido's stuff" Kiri said tossing the keys to Kaminari.

Kami, and Mina looked at him for a minute before getting a look from the redhead that said do it or leave. With that the two got up off the floor and went to the door to get Izuku's belongings from his car. Kirishim took Izuku by the hand and gently led him up the stairs into an empty bedroom. "You can stay in here. My room is right across the hall, and the others each have a room farther down" Kiri told him. "A...are you s...sure?" Izuku questioned. "Yes I'm completely sure" Kiri says as he sat Izuku down on the bed and then sat beside him. "I'm gonna tell you something that no one else knows. Bakugou and I aren't as close as most people think. He's done a few things over the years that have made my trust and respect for him falter" Kirishima stated with a disappointed tone in his voice. The two men sat there in a comfortable silence until Mina and Kami came in pulling giant purple suitcases behind them. "T...thank you guys" Izuku said looking up at the two who just entered the room. Jiro followed shortly with a bottle of water "you looked like you might need this" she stated passing the battle to Midoriya. "T...thank you" the green eyed man said as he accepted the offering.
