In four days time the two would travel to the city. Five was yet to experience somewhere like this, she'd only been in isolated places that were located away from civilisation. Packing their bags in preparation of the journey ahead of them. The two spoke about the long walk they were about to make, Techno explained to the girl they would have to stop somewhere over night as the man needed to rest at some point. He was kind to the girl now, as he knew that he'd be better off friends with her instead of being against her.

"So what's the plan when we get there?" Techno asked Five as he finished adding a netted bag of apples that shimmered gold into his back pack.

"I need to find someone." Five spoke as she was helping him with his belongings.

"Let me guess, Tommy?" He said with a chuckle.

"You know him?" Five looked at him.

"I used to know him. I helped him. I guess some people just can't be helped." He whispered with a sense of sadness. Five noticed this.

"Techno, do you trust me?" She said warmly.

"I don't trust anyone Five, I've told you this. However I will stand by you." He replied. Five knew the man struggled with opening up to people. He never told her much.

"I need to understand you more." She calmly told him. "For that to happen I need to do something." She continued. She took the bag out of his hands and gentle put it to the side, then turned the man to face her.

Lifting up her hands she placed them on his cheeks, he flinched at this. She looked into his eye and he looked into hers rather confused on what she was doing. She closed her slowly and kept them shut for a few seconds and as she opened them the were glowing a bright purple colour, they were so bright that the man had to squint his eyes to keep focused on them. Her hair started to sparkle the same shade as her eyes.  She then shut them suddenly.

Fives brain was searching for something inside the man. Then she saw it. His memories. The mans life rolled out in front of her. From when he was a child and was always left out, growing up alone without parents around him, when he learnt to fight, the time he went to the city to help someone, Tommy, the friendship they had and then the betrayal. The pain the man felt, the loneliness inside him. The anger. His hatred for tyrants and rulers. The city. The first ever war the city had. The day he turned away from everyone and decided to remain alone. The day Dream helped him. Everyone trying to stop him , they tried to execute him. The second war.  Then Five, the young girl who walked into his life. The fact he didn't like her and now he trusts her. He trust her. She felt all the sadness the now emotionless man once experienced.

The man still watching her, he saw a tiny silver tear trickle down her cheek. She felt everything he felt. How could she, she doesn't know what emotions are.

"Five..?" The man whispered gently wiping the tear from her cheek, it left a gentle trail of glitter across her face.

Slowly opening her eyes they stood in silence starring at each other. Her hands left his cheeks, leaving rosey marks where she'd warmed up his face. Sadness in her eyes as they went from the florescent purple to a dark blue back to green. He trusted her.

"I'm sorry." She started. This made the man look away from her. This venerable state the two were in was broken. He picked up the back pack and hurried up into his room to continue packing.

Days passed again, the two not speaking. He didn't leave his room for days. Five would take him food every night, yet he'd still not speak to her.

The day had arrived. Five sat by the table, she heard him come down from his room. Eyes red and puffy but filled with anger, but not for her. He grabbed his mask, crown and robe, putting them on. Nodded at the girl. Getting up Five grabbed his bag from him and lifted it on her back. It was heavy, filled of everything they'd need however she didn't find it heavy at all. The man sighed and took it back from her and politely smiled and swung it onto his shoulder. Turning of the lights and putting the fire out, he mad his way to the door, paused for a moment, then opened it waiting for the girl to leave first followed by him then he closed it behind him.

They set out on there adventure. It would take two days.
