          Kitty, Cook and Effy where on the road whilst everyone else was at school doing exams then the dance as well as a bunch of other things. The trio drove around cracking jokes and stopping off at random pubs to get a drink. It was almost the summer, almost time to leave school and never ever look back. The three where currently at a rave, Effy off flirting with random people while James and Kitty dance together. That was until they where physically thrown out, the three landing in a pile of black bin bags. 

It was also Kitty's seventeenth birthday and honestly she was happy to spend it with the two people she was currently with. Effy had already gotten up to find another party they could all head to whilst Kitty and James stayed exactly where they where. Kitty looked over at the boy with a smirk and almost instantly straddled him, her knees wither side of his legs. Kitty initiated the kiss but Cook stayed in control, whilst they where in a heated make out session Effy came back. A smiles on her face knowing that those two where okay again.

"come on you horny teens, no one else has a party going on so we have a long trek ahead of us" Effy announced, Cook was the first to pull away and picked the newly 17 year old up into his arms bridal style. The trio walked and laughed, the smiles never leaving any of their faces even when Effy walked ahead of the two others because they had stopped for a short but passionate kiss. They crashed at a random field just as the sun started rising, Kitty in cooks hold and Effy laying next to them.

Effy was the first awake, looking out at the lake the section of grass they fell asleep on looked upon. Once realising something the brunette woke kitty up, who didn't exactly wake up easily, and pointed out the extremely obvious tent in the boys pants. Kitty laughed and patted the boys trousers before admiring how peaceful he looked when he was asleep.

"where are we?" Cook asked the two girls

"i thought you were the man with the plan" Effy exclaimed as cook pulled kitty back into his chest

"i am" Cook reassured the two as he leaned on his elbows, Kitty resting her head on his shoulder as he looked down at her.

"its been weeks cook, one small shitty town after another" Effy seemed annoyed with the fact that they didn't exactly have a destination and just wanted to see where they would end up. Kitty, although half asleep, could sense the girls annoyance.

"oh Ef, its not about the destination. Its about the journey. '09 Bonnie and Clyde plus an extra. Outlaw tour of Britain" Cook looked around, his eyes lingering on kitty who was playing with the hem of the boys jumper

"im serious guys, where are we going" Effy asked, looking between the two

"were here, this is it. Here, this town" Cook ran his hand through Kitty's hair as they all looked out at the lake of water

"why" Kitty asked, her voice raspy from sleeping

"Because this is where my dad lives" Cook made eye contact with kitty who gave him a slight smile, as long as she was with cook that girl would do anything. The past few weeks he managed to regain the girls trust with stupid gestures and cussing girls out if they even came near him. He wanted her to himself and he would do anything for that to happen. The boy then got up, holding his hands out for the two girls to pull themselves up with. They made there way to a bridge that crossed over a canal, Cooks arm wrapped around Kitty and Kitty holding Effy's hand.

"are you guys coming with me" Cook asked the two as they looked out at the boat. Kitty gave Effy a look and shook her head

"not yet" Kitty spoke softly, drawing circles on cooks palm that was resting over the girls shoulder

"but i want you to meet him kit, i brought you here to meet him" Cook faced the girl, his face not giving any emotions

"i will, but i think you need to meet him first" Kitty raised her eyebrow and took both his hands in her own "you cant pussy out now James" Kitty gave the boy a quick peck on the lips before he walked away from the two. Kitty put her thumbs up at the boy each time he looked back and laughed when he tripped down the gravel steps "be careful cookie" Kitty whispered as he knocked on the boat

"you really do care about him dont you" Effy asked her cousin, taking the younger girls hand in her own

"of course i do Ef, hes the best thing i think could have happened to me" Kitty smiled softly and squished her cousins hand a little. It must have only been twenty minutes later when James' dad came out hand in hand with James. The older man grabbing kitty's hand and pulling the girls along behind him. James gave kitty a cheeky smile which she returned. He seemed happy and she loved seeing that smile on him
