Melody couldn't believe that she actually decided to write to Draco. Out of all people, she went to him. She took out her quill and began to write.
Dear Draco,
I cannot believe I'm actually writing to you. Not that it's a bad thing. Anyway, I wanted to know how I could get my mind off of Dahlia's death. You'd think I'd be a master at coping but not at all. So, what'd you do? Thank you again, Draco. And for what it's worth, I forgive you too.

As of now, Leo and Melody were attempting to bake a cake. However, Melody insisted on doing most of the work. It was currently 8:00 AM, so no one was up asides from Leo and Melody."Melody! You left the cake in too long!" Leo exclaimed.
Just then, Harry and Cedric descended the stairs, still in their pajamas.
"Why does it smell like somethings burning?" Cedric said, sniffing the air. "Oh no. Melody didn't cook, did she?" Leo nodded.
"Sorry!" Melody took the cake out of the oven.
"That doesn't even look edible," Harry made a disgusted face.
Leo laughed. "I'll make some pancakes."
"I think my food is very edible," Melody said stubbornly.
"Not at all, love," Harry chuckled.
"Also, since I'm trying this whole be responsible thing, all three of you are going back to school tomorrow."
"Don't I get a pass since I've been dead the last year?" Cedric groaned.
"That's exactly why you need to go back. You're failing, miserably if I may add."
"Well, that's sorta what happens when you 'die'."
"Hey, I faked my death, and I'm not behind on bills," Leo argued.
"But you're rich," Harry pointed out.
"True," he replied fondly. "No excuses. You're all going back. End of story."
All three children groaned and headed to the basement, where Leo set up to be a hangout room.
"At least we got to spend Valentine's day together."
"Having a funeral on Valentine's day isn't exactly ideal."
"True."
"Also, Harry, I need to tell you something..."
"What is it?"
"I can't spend the whole summer with you..."
"What? Why?" He said with a hint of disappointment in his voice.
"I haven't spent as much time at home as I want to. You know, with the whole Dahlia and Leo situation, I haven't really been at home since last summer," said Melody. "And I think I owe it to my dad and Cedric since I was so quick to shut down the idea of Cedric being alive..."
"Melody, you don't owe me anything," said Cedric. "And I'm sure dad's happy for you."
"That's also why I want to stay. I haven't spent any time at home for a while."
"I understand," he sighed. "We'll still see each other in the summer, right?"
"Of course."
"Pancakes are ready!" They heard Leo shout from the kitchen.

Cedric and Harry were playing quidditch in the backyard, and Leo had gone out somewhere, so that left Melody alone. She heard an owl tap on the window, so she made her way over to it. She assumed Draco responded to her letter. She took off the envelope and started reading.Dear Melody,
Geez, you make it sound like I tried to kill you. Anyway, if I'm being honest: sex. I didn't feel a lot of sadness from my father's death, more anger. So I just took it out that way. I know it's not exactly ideal, but hey, it worked. Good luck.
Draco
Melody thought he was insane at first, but then she thought about it more. He had a point with the whole taking your anger out thing, she thought.

It was about ten at night. Harry was sitting on the side of her bed reading a book when Melody walked out in black, lacy lingerie. Harry looked up from his book and set it down next to him.(I'm cringing rn)
Melody sat on his lap with her knees pressed against the mattress.
"Wow," he breathed out. "What's the occasion?"
"There is no occasion," Melody whispered. She then kissed him hungrily on the lips. Harry held onto her waist and groaned when she started rocking her hips against him.
Just then, Leo walked into the room. Leo noticed the sight before him and simply walked out.
"We should get some sleep anyway," Harry said.
"Yeah..." she agreed. Melody climbed off of his laps and rolled onto the bed.
"I just realized I'm trying this whole responsible dad thing, so, Harry, you're sleeping in the guest room!" Leo called from outside the door.
Melody rolled her eyes. "I value my life, so I'm gonna listen to Leo," Harry chuckled. He kissed her lips. "Goodnight, love." Harry shuffled out of the room.
When he opened the door, Leo was still standing there with his arms crossed. "I'm glad to hear you value your life," he said before pointing him in the direction of the guest room.
