Taehyung's POV

"Taehyung can you call Sana? Breakfast is ready" Sa Ji Noona asked as I got in of our house. I was out, feeding the chickens.

Part of the morning routine.

"Yeah sure," I washed my hands first then proceeded to her room. I knocked twice but no one answered, I decided not to enter, this may be our house but it's her room. I knocked multiple times until she finally opens the door with her face that looks like she has just woken up.

"Good morning" I greeted with a smile.

"There's no good in my morning" she replied. "What do you want?" yep, confirmed she doesn't like seeing my handsome face.

"Breakfast is ready, let's eat," I said still composed.

"No thank you because I, don't eat breakfast" she was about to slam the door but I placed my hand at the door, stopping her from closing it.

"I don't know why you don't eat breakfast, maybe it's your thing in Japan but you are in our house, in Grandma's house, and in here we eat meals together. That's one of her rules" Yeah, that is Grandma. She said that meals are not just eating food to get energy and that it's because it's one of the basic needs.

Meals are what bring everyone together. So she made a rule that every mealtime we should all eat together.

"I'm a visitor though, you can't push me to something I don't want"

"Number one, you are not a visitor because you'll be staying here for we don't know how long. Second, yeah this is something you don't 'want' but this is something you 'need'" I slowly pulled my hand off the door when it seems like she'll listen but then she slammed the door in my face.

I smirked. Wow, that was very expected.

Minutes later she came out of her room, wearing a white tee and beige color shorts with her hair still down.

Sa Ji suddenly cleared her throat that made me look at her. She again, have those hawk and teasing eyes.

We thanked Grandma for the food before digging in. Sa Ji and Grandma talked about farming. I guess they'll go to the farm later. I am already imagining what I am going to do to the farm later but then those thoughts quickly disappeared when Sa Ji said.

"Taehyung, please tour Sana around and teach her everything you do here at the house, so she'll know where to start"

Wait, what?

"I'm not helping in the farm today?" I asked.

She shook her head and drank a glass of water "There's nothing much work anyways, but next month there would be" we continued to finish our first meal of the day. Grandma and Sa Ji rested for about twenty minutes before they went to the farm.

Silenced covered us when it was just me and Sana in the house. I don't know where I should start to teach her. There isn't much work anyways but I don't know if she has a background in this kind of thing.

So I have no idea if we will going to finish early.

She's just about to walk into her room, luckily I stopped her. It's hard making her get out of that room. "Hey, come on follow me," I said, I thought that she didn't follow because that's just her being her, and to my surprise, she did follow.

We went outside. Every morning in summer it is my time to take care of our animals. We have chickens and chicks, also ducks, we have a dog and there's a barn afar. It will take you a ten-minute walk from here to there.

"I already fed the animals here earlier--"

"Then why this?" she surly told

"--but not the ones in the barn," I added. I tried to hide my forming smile when I saw her stilled and her face shows a disgusted expression.

"Let's go, I bet they're hungry" I walked first for her to not see that I am having fun on this one. I don't know what lifestyle she had back in Japan but all I know is that she doesn't have any clue about living a simple life here in the countryside.

After at least thirty minutes' walk, we are finally here in the barn. Yeah, the ten-minute walk that I was saying earlier became thirty minutes because she shoos every kind of insect she sees and complaining that everything is itchy.

I don't know if I would be entertained or irritated at that moment. She slows the work, if this would be me alone I think I am already on the next few chores.

As soon as we entered the barn I got a bucket full of grass for the cows. "Get one" I ordered, I noticed how she picked the bucket that was full of stems from corn and not the one with grasses. Our eyes met as soon as she held the bucket, my heart skipped a bit, but I didn't mind it, must be the exhaustion I went through that walking. We started stepping towards where the cows are. "So just scooped whatever amount your hand can carry and bring it to the cow" I demonstrated it to her until that cow finished her food. I took a step backward, telling her indirectly to take over.

She hesitatingly did what I showed, the cow mooed when Sana's hand neared it. Sana was about to pull it off but I stepped in, held her hand, and guided it towards the cow.

"Don't be scared, she won't bite" I said softly to make her a bit comfy because she looks tensed and afraid. I felt her holding her breath as soon as the cow started eating the stems from the corn on that's on her hand.

"See?" little by little I saw how her smile form from her lovely angelic face. I let her be when I think that she can handle feeding the cows. I just watched her like I am watching my favorite TV show.

After the cows, we also feed the pigs, sheep, and horses.

She enjoyed feeding the horses, sheep, and cows but not the pigs. Yeah, you know exactly why. Simply because she hates getting herself dirty. I can't believe we are nearing lunchtime and that is all we've done. Feeding the animals.

But that was a great time. I never have someone with me to feed these animals. I never thought that doing it with someone would be such a great moment.

and I think not only feeding these creatures would be the one that I will enjoy spending with her, but my whole summer.
