he had so much power and he knew it he was the devil.
yet, here you were, weeping over him. you've been told he would never care for you. he'd throw you to the ground like a crumb and forget about you.
you never wanted to believe it. you wanted to believe he felt something for you.
it was a lie. you fell in love with him too quick, and you felt like a fool to ever think that you meant something to him. he moved on quickly and forgot about you after a second.
you were snapped out of your thoughts you looked at yourself in the mirror, getting ready for the ball. your best friend, niki had grabbed the necklace from your hand and put it around your delicate neck.
she hugged you tightly. "you look stunning." she smiled and tucked a piece of hair behind your ear.
"now come on, before we're late. sam and fundy are waiting!"
you felt her grip pull you out of your small house and finally see your beloved friends.
sam stood tall and sophisticated while fundy was fooling around with tommy. you were happy to see your friends happy, but you still felt the burden of techno.
niki, fundy, and tommy all started to head out, while sam stood with you for a while. he extended his arm out for you to take it, and you happily placed your warm hand in his.
he sent you a smile. "you look beautiful." he said while looking ahead of him you smiled at his small compliment
"you look beautiful too sam." you giggled. "if there are any problems tonight, just call me. i'll be there with you the whole time. i promise." sam said, knowing techno would be there.
you felt your chest tighten and sent him a forced smile and a hug. you were so grateful for sam.
you both walked into the ball and you saw more of your friends. you spotted karl.
his eyes brightened when he saw you. karl gave you the biggest hug after not seeing you for a while. "karl! oh how ive missed you." you said sighing, taking in his nice scent of warm vanilla.
