Baby, wake up." I hear his angelic voice and I smile in my sleep, he must be some sort of an angel to have walked into my life. I can't honestly imagine my life without him. Just then I feel his touch on my face, his hands are warm. I try to open my eyes but his sight alone is too bright,he must really be an angel. I close my eyes again but then he calls my name," Amanda."  I quickly open my eyes and there he vanished.

I wake up for real this time, it was all a dream. As I look at the clock besides my bed it reads 8, I have a class at nine, shit I'm gonna be late. I quickly get up and head for the shower, I don't bother doing my makeup cause I'm like 20 minutes late. I still have to get through the grounds which will take me five more minutes.

At around five minutes to nine I'm at the door of Miss Adams, right on time just as everyone else gets in. I'm sweating all over my body, and as I get in the class I see Mason and Troy at the back. They are busy going through some book together and I decide to sit in the front, don't wanna be another Hailey.

Five minutes later Miss Adams walks into the class and starts the lesson, I keep feeling like there are eyes digging through me from behind. When I look back I'm met with Mason's eyes and he doesn't look away from me. We are now having a staring contest, if he won't take his eyes off me, neither will I. He smiles at me, it's like an evil smile, like a " got you smile."

"Miss Mokoana, will you stop looking at Mr Springler and answer the question for all of us." Miss Adams finishes off our staring contest, now I know what he was laughing at. And now the whole class is laughing at me.

"I'm sorry miss Adams, what was the question?" I ask her.

" There was no question Amanda, just focus and stop looking at Mason with puppy dog eyes." She finishes by saying which sets the class off in laughter, when I look at Mason he pretends to be focusing but he's really laughing.

After Miss Adams class I'm the first one out , good thing I sat in the front.
" Amanda?" I hear a voice calling me, and when I look back it's Troy and Mason, then on my left I see Ana and Lucy also approaching me. I decide to go to them and ditch the two handsome dudes coming my way.

" Hey Manda, we haven't heard from you since Sunday, what happened?" Ana asks me, but my eyes are on the two boys that are now turning back.

"I have class Ana, let's talk later on over dinner, my treat." I say as I head off to my next class.

And I do just that, I go to class which is Mr Michaels class. I know for a fact that neither Troy nor Mason are in this class, so some peace for me.

..............................

It's Friday already and I haven't seen Mason, I've been having lunches with Troy and he mentioned something about his father coming to town this weekend. I don't know what his problem is but it doesn't involve me, I have to take Ana and Lucy out and make up for not being with them all week.

As I walk through the campus I see Hailey walking towards me with her two minions, she doesn't look so happy. "Well hello Africa." Hailey greets me.

" The name is Amanda, try to learn it, it's not that difficult." I try to defend myself, or rather my name.

"I don't care what they call you, I just came to warn you. Stay away from Mason Ok?"

"Look, Hailey is it? Listen and listen attentively, you're not Mason's keeper
You will not tell me when or how I can't be with him." Why do I even care if she doesn't want me to be with Mason, not that we are together or anything.

"Look here... Africa, Mason is way out of your league, so if you know what's good for you, you'll do what's right. Mason is mine, and I won't compete with some malaria girl from.... Where are you from again?"
