Lenka's POV

I carried the boy as we headed back to the truck. Alisa kept a lookout, but still stole glances at Sora. I agreed he was a cute boy, the way he quietly yawned and calmly stare at my face from time to time. He kept patting my face and muttering words I barely heard under his breath. I smiled sheepishly when he did it again. This time however, he blew in my face.

"He's really cute." Alisa smiled in amusement. "Lenka, do you think (Y/n) is still alive?"

I glanced at her. "I believe she is." I looked away in thought. I wondered where she was living and how. Accidents can occur in the abandoned buildings anywhere. They're unstable and dangerous to even take shelter in. I shook my head. I shouldn't think that way when her child is literally in my arms.

I looked back at Sora, who was looking around. I wondered how he will react to seeing Soma. And how Soma would react to him. Would Sora even recognize, or accept Soma? Then again, he's only a toddler. Maybe he has no idea. My heart was filled with anticipation for them both.

When we arrived at the meeting point, we spotted Sakuya and Soma waiting in the vehicle. It was getting dark out, and I hoped they weren't waiting long. Sakuya peaked out of the window and waved, when she suddenly gasped, alerting Soma. He was looking elsewhere until he spotted us. Soma immediately jumped off the truck and stared with wide eyes at the child in my arms. Alisa stood away and went to stand beside Sakuya, to watch the scene unfold.

From the looks of it, Soma was in shock. I placed Sora down before him, watching as they stared at each other. Soma's lips was parted. He was probably wondering whether to say something or not. I smiled at him, happy for him being a father and having a family already. "He said his name is Sora."

Soma blinked out of his trance, and looked between us. Sora stared at Soma, before walking towards him. Soma was startled when he hugged his legs, closing his eyes. "Papa."

Sakuya was tearing at the scene, and I was surprised the child already knew. Did (Y/n) have a picture of Soma? Alisa made a small noise at how cute Sora was.

"Sora..." Soma knelt down, and faced him. He held his shoulders to better look at his face, studying all of his features. He really did look like Soma.

Sora stared at him back, when he suddenly patted his forehead. "Papa."

"Yeah... I'm... I'm your papa." Soma murmured under his breath, before slowly bringing the child into his arms. "I'm your father..." His voice croaked, as if he was holding back tears.

I couldn't help tearing a bit myself, and Sakuya wiped her face at the scene. I took a deep breath, then glanced around at the wilderness. Where was (Y/n)? Did she know Sora was out here on his own? Not that she had anything to worry about with the aragami, but the structures around aren't safe to be around. I glanced back seeing Soma carrying his son. Sora kept patting his face, muttering 'papa'. Soma was smiling, his eyes shining from his tears. I never seen such a smile on his face.

Soma's POV

I ignored everyone as we headed into the den. My son, my own son was in my arms, staring with such wonder and curiosity that I wanted to cry. I heard noises of surprise, shocks and congratulations as I headed back to my room. I wanted to spend time with him as much as possible. I wanted him for myself.

We entered my room, and I made note to clean up so Sora can better walk around without tripping on debris or clothing. When (Y/n) was here, she made sure everything was clean and tidy. Now, it looked like 2 lions fought in here. I sat on the couch, holding him close and watching his every move. He wasn't heavy at all. He was endearing, the way he looked around with shiny eyes. He's never been in the den, so his surroundings were bizarre to him of course.

"Sora..." I whispered his name, and he looked back at me. He replied with a 'papa', and my chest swelled at this. Sora was a nice name. (Y/n) chose well. "My son... I..." I didn't know what to say. I was feeling so many emotions at one time. I'm happy, for having a family, for having him. But sad (Y/n) wasn't here. Where was she? I hoped she was still alive. She had to be. With that in mind, I decided to ask, "Where is... mama?"

Sora blinked slowly. "Home."

"Home? Where's home?" My heart began to race. So she's alive?

Sora looked around, then shrugged. I smiled a little. I guess he couldn't really tell me without being outside. I picked him up and placed him standing on my lap. I gently held him from underneath his arms, feeling his small body underneath the fabric. He watched me quietly. "Is mommy ok?"

He nodded.

"Are the aragami... good to you?" I wanted to clench my teeth at the question.

He nodded again.

"Can you show me where mama is when we go out?"

He nodded and yawned.

I smiled in amusement. I wondered what he ate out there. I looked over his clothes. They looked well made. Was it (Y/n)? I was so focused on my thoughts, I hadn't notice his foot coming to press on my chest. "Hey, what are you doing?"

"Play." He murmured, using his boots to walk over my chest. I chuckled. I then started bouncing him on my lap. This brought a smile on his face, and he giggled. "Heehee! Play...!"

"I'm sure you want to play, but you look tired." I smiled when he let out a large yawn. "Let's get some rest. Then we'll go find mama, just you and me, ok?"

Sora nodded quickly, his hair bobbing with his head before it covered his eyes. He had long bangs. I chuckled when he tried looking past his bangs, moving his head this way and that. I blew into his face, blowing the bangs aside. He giggled, and tried doing the same, only to spit a little.

"Come on, you're sleeping with me." I carried him, as he muttered 'sleep' and rested against my shoulder. I brought him to bed, moving some covers and bringing a pillow close. I laid him down, then laid down beside him. He yawned once more, before turning to face me and sleeping peacefully. I reached out to hold his hand, and I couldn't help tearing again when he held onto me. "Sora."
