I threw up what I can, as I leaned against a large boulder. 'Ugh, throwing up is a horrible feeling! I rather poop!'
After a few more minutes of my body lurching and shaking, I stood back and took a deep breath. I wiped my mouth, glancing at the sky as my stomach calmed down. It was getting dark. I looked around for the sariel, who was patiently waiting some feet away. I went towards it, hand outstretched. "Thanks for waiting, I'm ready now."
I assumed it purred as I stroked its face below the eye. Just as I climbed over the sariel, a voice sounded in my ear. "(Y/n)? Where are you?"
"Lindow?" I blinked in surprise. Wasn't expecting to hear from him. "What's up? I'm heading back now, I'll be there soon."
"That's good news, I just wanted make sure you were ok." He replied.
I nodded to myself. "I feel a little better. Though my stomach is acting weird."
"I heard from Sakaki you ate a bunch of cores. You should get back and have him have a look at you."
"I know. I'll go straight to him when I get back. I'll see you soon!" After that, I rubbed my head, feeling an odd sensation. 'Maybe it is from the cores I've eaten. I've never felt this way before. And my stomach... what's up with me today?' I thought worriedly, swallowing back some vomit.
When I reached the branch, I had the sariel drop me off some yards away from the walls, before sending it away. I wouldn't want it to be shot down after giving me a wonderful ride through the sky. "Bye now!" I waved as it glided away.
After briefly speaking with the guards and riding the elevator, I entered the den and spotted Soma sitting by the waiting area. He had a hard expression on his face, as he sat leaning forward with his hands clenched together.
Hibari smiled in relief when she spotted me. "Welcome back, (Y/n)! I'm glad you're safe! Are you ok?"
"I'm fine." I smiled at her, glancing towards Soma who stood from his seat. "I'll talk to you later."
"Of course!" She nodded in understanding as I went towards the elevator that leads to our quarters.
I didn't have to look behind me, knowing Soma was close behind. 'I wonder what he's been thinking all this time I've been out...' I thought. I casually got in the elevator, arms behind my back in an innocent manner. Soma followed, watching my every move as he silently followed me back to his room. I nearly let out a sigh. We really needed to talk about a few things.
When we entered his room, and the doors locked behind us, I turned to face him. He didn't bother turning the lights on, so we entered in darkness. I barely opened my mouth when he suddenly tackled my lips in a fierce kiss. I couldn't help the small noise of surprise as he hugged my waist and held me tight against him. He wouldn't let me breathe as he dominated my mouth.
I moved my face away, trying to breathe, but that didn't stop him from leaving quick, lingering kissing down my neck. "Soma!"
He replied by moving me towards the bed, massaging and touching parts of my body that flared at his touch. I moaned when he sucked at my neck, then yelped when I fell back on the bed.
He stood over me, eyes flaring in lust, anger and regret. His eyes never left mine as he began to strip. I panted, eyes wide at the intensity of his emotions. "S-soma? Shouldn't we talk first?"
"I want your body first." He said huskily. I couldn't help the shiver through me at his words. It definitely filled me with want for his body as well. The way his muscles moved as he pulled the last of his clothes off and moved to start taking off mine. "I missed you, I'm sorry. But I'm angry that you didn't listen to me."
I bit my lip as he pulled away the last of my clothing and crawled over me. "Soma, I-"
"No, don't talk." Soma silenced me, giving me a glare as he pulled apart my legs. His scowl softened. "You didn't listen to me, when I'm trying to keep you safe. I don't want to lose you."
When he murmured those last words, I smiled softly at his face. He almost looked vulnerable for a second, but it soon passed, replaced with lust when I touched his abs. "Soma, do you love me?"
He stopped for a moment, staring with slightly wide eyes. I trailed my hands up his abdomen as he came closer for a kiss. "I do. I do love you." I smiled into the kiss, as he entered me. "But I wish you didn't feel like you have to do anything brave."
I held back sigh, instead moaned when he thrust himself deeper. "Soma, I just wanted to-"
"Shh, let it go." He silenced me again, pressing himself tighter against me as he made love to me.

I woke up with Soma's arms wrapped tightly around my waist. I felt pressure on my chest, looking down to find his head resting between my breasts. I smiled, patting his head. He shifted slightly, but didn't move away. I looked towards the terminal. 'I forgot about visiting the doctor. Hopefully he'll excuse me.'
I suddenly felt sick again, then burst out of bed, clutching my mouth. Soma burst awake, looking around in shock before watching me throw up in the toilet. "(Y/n)?" He came to my side, rubbing my back as I vomited. "What's wrong?"
"My stomach, I don't know what's wrong with me..." I murmured out painfully. "I need to see Sakaki."
Some stared, before grabbing a paper towel. He had a look on his face, as if he suspected something. "Ok."
-X-
"(Y/n)! I was beginning to wonder if you've forgotten me." Sakaki said in a cheerful tone. Soma helped me to a couch and sat beside me as the doctor watched me. His smile went neutral. "(Y/n), how are you feeling?"
"Sick." I groaned, holding my head. Soma watched me silently.
Sakaki hummed, then left his desk to get a better look at me. "Let's see here." I looked at him with tired eyes, as he inspected me further. "When was your last red tide?"
I blushed, briefly glancing at Soma, who looked away. "Um, I noticed I didn't see it last month..."
Sakaki raised his eyebrows. He then glanced Soma, the at me. "Have you both indulged yourselves in any intimate activities?"
"Sakaki, get to the point." Soma growled out, still not looking our way.
"Maybe?" I replied.
Sakaki backed away, rubbing his chin. He had a small smile on his face when he hummed. "(Y/n), I think you may be-"
An alarm sounded in the den, grabbing our attentions. An announcement rung out, calling for all units and for staff to evacuate to certain areas. "What's going on?" I stood up as Soma glared in annoyance.
"An aragami entered the den, I assume?" Sakaki hummed, not bothered by everything. "Well, we might as check it out."
"Go to the room." Soma told me, before rushing off.
I frowned, then glanced at Sakaki. He adjusted his glasses. "Let's go (Y/n)."
I nodded, following him out the room. 'What was Sakaki going to say?'
