Soma returned late again. Only this time, he returned late on purpose. He was still his usual self, unsociable and grumpy. Yet with a lingering agitation of what happened earlier. He was still a bit angry that I didn't listen to him. Immune or not, he didn't want me near aragami. He clenched his teeth at the thought of me riding the aragami with an excited smile. The way I looked, smiling and laughing at the very beasts that threatens humanity, made him clenched his fists next. I was only allowed to be that happy around him.
He didn't find me in the lounge, then he remembered he told me to wait in his room. Given how hurt I was, he wasn't surprised to not find me there. He entered his room, only to find I wasn't there either. His eyes widened a fraction, as he looked around his room. This was odd. He left his room in a hurry, going straight to the doctor's lab.
When he arrived, Sakaki looked up from his work and smiled. "Soma! Welcome back!"
"Where's (Y/n)?" Soma asked.
Sakaki hummed in surprise. "She isn't in your room?"
"I wouldn't be here if she was." Soma glared. "Where did you see her last?"
"She was here with me. We had a good talk about the old times." Sakaki smiled fondly. "It turns out (Y/n) remembers everything! Even the time when-"
"Do you know where she went?" Soma cut him off with a scowl.
Sakaki, as unfazed as ever, merely shook his head. "No idea Soma, sorry. Maybe try checking her room?"
Soma soon left the lab and hurried to my room. To think I would go to my room instead of his, he only got more annoyed. I never touched my room since it was assigned to me. This was a first. He stormed past Brandon and Gina after leaving the elevator, and stopped at my door. 'She better be in there.' He thought, then entered the room.
He had expected me to be in bed, sleeping with a worried expression. But not after drinking 3 cans of beer. The smell of alcohol made him grunt in disappointment, and he spotted me over the couch, muttering in my sleep how alcohol tastes horrible. He walked over and nudged me awake. I whimpered and turned away, narrowing my brow.
He sighed, then wrapped his arms around me. He picked me up and took me to the bed, scrunching his nose when I breathed in his face. "Damn you, drinking alcohol? What were you thinking?"
"Mmm, it's your fault..." I muttered in my sleep as he laid me down. He raised a brow, watching me mumble under my breath. "You hurt my feelings."
He sighed again, then crawled into the bed with me. He hugged me to his chest, closing his eyes and listened to my breathing. He was glad I stopped talking in my sleep, and turned in his arms to cuddle closer. He let out a long breath through his nose, then took in my scent. He kissed my forehead. "I'm sorry."

When I woke up, I was surprised to find Soma still in bed with me. He was sleeping, his arms tight around me. It was warm enough to make me want to sleep again. I stared up at his face. He seemed so tired. He may have came later than usual last night.
I reached up and cupped his face. In that moment, his eyes opened. I gave him a small smile, feeling his fingers twitch behind my back. "Welcome back Soma, and good morning."
"...yeah." he closed his eyes for moment, taking a deep breath. I snuggled closer when he tightened his hold on me. His thumb lightly brushed over my lower back.
"Not planning on going out today?" I whispered against his neck. He swallowed after I planted a kiss near his Adam's apple.
"No." He replied, not moving an inch. I couldn't help smiling. We were getting back to normal already. I was playing with a button on his shirt, when he shifted to look down at me.
He had a soft look, eyes staring peacefully into my own. I gently took hold of his chin, softly rubbing my thumb over it. He leaned closer, and we nuzzled noses. Then our lips connected. As our arms slowly wrapped one another, our kisses became more passionate. He was between my legs now, keeping us close together as my legs wrapped around his waist. I let out a moan when he rubbed against me, and trailed kisses down my neck. He reached down to cup a breast, when my terminal lit up. There was a call.
"Ignore it..." Soma said between kisses as he held me down.
"I can't... Just do that, Soma..." I panted, feeling him press harder against me. He went back to kissing my lips, preventing me from saying any more. He had already withdrew himself, and started undoing my pants. I moaned again when his fingers brushed against me in a slow rhythm, then pulled away my undergarments.
"Soma-" He moved inside, silencing me again with a kiss, then pulled away. I stared into his eyes, the lust and peaceful look made me smile. I felt happy he was so comfortable around me. I held onto him as he continued moving within me, in a slow, loving manner.

"You seem happy..." Gina mentioned before drinking down a beer. She had to leave for a mission soon. She decided to sit with me for a bit and have a beer.
I nodded merrily as I waited for Soma to return from his mission. "Yep!"
She stared at me from across the couch, eyeing me in amusement. "So Soma is back to his less grumpy self?" When I glanced at her, she smirked. "He was pretty angry yesterday, the way he nearly pushed me and Brendan out of the way. I had a feeling it had something to do with you."
I looked away in thought. "He was pretty angry, huh?"
"Well, it's good you guys have each other. I'm not gonna ask what happened, but I'm sure everything went well?" She raised a brow.
"Yep! Very well!" I nodded with a bright smile.
She chuckled, then heard her name being called. She chugged the last of her beer and threw it in the trash. "Alright, see you kid."
I giggled when she patted my head and left to the entrance. I glanced towards the tv, listening to the news. Another attack on the outer ghetto. A herd of orgetails had managed to destroy a few houses, but the god eaters managed to take them out. Nobody was harmed or killed. I stared at the screen. If I could eat the aragami cores, and become immune to all species, could I be able to keep the outer ghetto safe? Maybe even help the people out there struggling to survive?
The thought nearly made me smile hopefully. I could be there for everyone, and Soma would be home more often, cuddling me to no end. The thought made me smile wide, and I hugged myself.
Hibari answered a call, and gasped out loud. "1st unit is what?! Gone?!"
My eyes widened.
