Lenka's POV...

I sweat-dropped with Alisa, as we followed a curious Kota, who was also following the rest of our unit out the den. From what we heard, Lindo and Sakuya found Soma sneaking out with Sora. The thought was cute, but we wondered where he was going. Though we had an idea...

"Come on! They're right there! I think they've caught him!" Kota whispered to us, as he looked past a corner. Alisa rolled her eyes, but she couldn't deny her curiosity either. I spotted Soma glaring at them, with Sora touching a truck's wheel some feet away.

"There's no point in hiding, let's just go." I said, before revealing myself. Soma glared my way next, as Sora finally realized the crowd gathering. He looked at all of us, then when spotting me, came and pointed at my face. I smiled sheepishly. "Hello Sora."

"Ball." He murmured, then went back to inspecting the truck. I smiled in amusement. I suppose he remembered throwing a couple snowballs at me. That was how we met and interacted first after all.

"Come on, Soma. We know you want to find (Y/n)," Lindow began. "We miss her too. We're coming with you."

"Besides, I doubt you know how to drive this thing." Sakuya mentioned, patting the truck beside her.

"-ues!" Sora blurted out, then ran around the vehicle.

"What?" Kota and I glanced at each other in confusion. We wondered what he was trying to say, as Alisa watched the small boy with a hidden smile.

Soma sighed in annoyance, but reluctantly nodded. "Fine. Let's hurry up and go."

"You got it! Guess you guys are coming too?" Lindow glanced at us, as Sakuya went around to the passenger side. Soma had scooped up Sora in his arms, before he could crawl underneath the thing.

We looked at each other, then nodded. "Yeah, we're coming too." I was curious about (Y/n). What sort of person she was, and why everyone was so entranced by her. Sure she's possibly a breakthrough to finding hope for this world, but I suspected there was more to it. I wanted to see her in action, and learn more about her.

"Count me in!" Kota grinned, jumping into the back of the truck with Soma.

Alisa twirled her hair in her fingers. "I suppose you'll be needing my help in case of anything. Besides, we're a team." She murmured that last part to herself, then climbed in after them. I followed and sat beside Kota, who made funny faces at Sora. The boy grinned at him, while Soma smiled softly down at him on his lap.

-X-

We drove out into the city, when we eventually had to stop to know where to go. Everyone turned to Soma after we parked in a safe location, and got out the truck. Soma had placed Sora on the ground, then knelt down to his level. "Sora, where's mommy?"

Sora stared at his father, before looking around. He eventually started walking out into the open space of the city, which alarmed a few of us. "Sora, where ya going?" Kota asked, following after Soma who stood close behind him.

"Are we in the right place, I wonder..." Lindo followed after them with his god arc over his shoulder. I stood quiet, as Sakuya and Alisa looked around the large, empty space. Their bodies were alert, with their god arcs readied to be deployed. And I think I knew why.

I had a strange feeling we were being watched. To be honest, I've felt this way ever since we've left the den. I don't think I was the only one either with that suspecting feeling. I looked around, noticing how quiet the area was. We haven't encountered any Aragami, which was odd. I had a feeling it had something to do with Sora, maybe. There were often times he would call out into the open, 'Ues!' I wondered, as well as Soma, who or what he was calling for. Occasionally we would follow his gaze and glance at the sky, but we never found anything.
