AKA: The Secret Revealed
Jessica turned away disturbed at the sight of Trish screaming. Trish's screaming had nothing to do with any pain but euphoria. Trish gasped as she saw a furious Jessica leave the bedroom. A few minutes later Trish entered the living room in a bath robe followed by the blond cop who attempted to kill her yesterday. The cop was in his underwear looking at the ground sheepishly.
"Jessica I can explain!" Trish exclaimed
"You're having sex with the guy who almost killed you! Are you insane?!" Jessica screamed
"Will was controlled by Kilgrave he couldn't help himself!" Trish argued
"Can I say something?" Will asked gently
"No!" Jessica and Trish yelled
"Sweetie just go wait in the bedroom." Trish said
Will left the living room and Jessica walked toward Chopper. Chopper laid on his side motionless and Jessica saw a countdown timer.
"Will served in the Clone Wars as a security officer. He transported prisoners and used astromech units like Chopper to secure them. He programmed Chopper to reboot on a basic security protocol. He'll be fine."
"What in the galaxy is Ahsoka and Hera gonna say when they find out about this? Especially Hera. You powered Chopper down so you can fool around with an attempted murderer in the bedroom."
Trish walked toward Jess and raised her hands in caution.
"Jess Will is a sweet guy who wants to help us stop Kilgrave. He feels awful about trying to kill me. While we were sorting out our...past...things got emotional and I just...Hera and Ahsoka will understand."
"You are making your case worse. That droid was your only protection and you allowed this guy who attempted to kill you to put Chopper on reboot mode?"
Will entered the room with his clothes on and his blaster pistol out.
"Listen I understand how close you are to Trish but I can help."
"We're just supposed trust you based on your word?"
"I served the former Republic and almost died in the Clone Wars what have you done?" Will accused
"Guys! Stop! Tensions are high. I get it, but it's Kilgrave whose causing all this distrust. We've all been victims of his rampage which is more reason for us to work together."
"Trish is right Jessica. Are you in? I have a plan."
"Fine. What's your plan?" Jessica replied folding her arms
"I contact my unit. We have a hidden containment cell that we used for any force sensitive or empowered individuals we encountered. We used it several years ago not too long after the Clone Wars ended.
Me and my brothers in arms worked with a group of Clones who Darth Vader ordered to find these individuals. Vader would send Force powered lieutenants of his called Inquisitors to order us around.
Vader wanted to capture empowered people and dissect them. Use the secrets of their powers to enhance his own troops. The few Jedi who remained on the other hand he and his lieutenants would kill for the most part. The Inquisitors scared us into following through with the mission and protect us from Jedi that tried to interfere with capturing powered people."
"So if you worked as an Imperial soldier how did you end up being a cop?" Jessica asked raising her eyebrow suspicious
"We resigned in protest and got reassigned to police officer detail. Though Vader killed one of my brothers in arms to remind us he was in charge."
