The Hardest Witch

We walked up to the witch Zariella's home. Then a girl with two blue pigtails and a turquoise hat popped her head out of a tree.

"Who're you?" She asked frowning. She looked around Eruka's age.

"Meister Synthia Misuka. Are you the witch Zariella?" Synthia asked pointing me at her.

"A DWMA student? Well I've been just itching for a fight to watch!" She squealed.

Synthia, how is she the hardest witch she's so little? I asked Synthia through our soul link.

She probably has back up... And there probably kishans. Synthia answered me.

"No fair using your resonance link!" The witch pouted.

"We are going to defeat you." Synthia stated.

"I wouldn't be so sure of that... BOO!" She screamed as kishans started coming out of the ground. She slid on to a tree branch so we could see her fully.

"Get them." She frowned pointing her finger at us a shot of blue sparkle shot out and surrounded us.

"Synth? What's going on?" I asked scarred.

"I don't know, but let's do this!" She screamed bouncing from each kishan until there was none left.

"Wow, what a weapon you've got there. She can shoot compressed wave links too?" The witch asked shooting us again this time Synthia dodged it and hit her with a wave link.

"AHHHHHHHHH!" She screamed in pain and fell to the ground.

"You're good little girl." She laughed as Synthia walked up to her.

"Water needle..." She whispered pointing a finger at us. Water shot out in a needle form. Synthia put me in the way.

"Sacrifici-" she was going to say something but saw how the water bounced off me and decided against it.

"Go ahead... Finish me." She laughed as Synthia killed her. I turned back to human form.

"How many kishan souls?" I asked as I looked at the souls.

"Eleven... Not enough." She sighed before I ate them.

"De-lic-ous!" I squealed after eating the last soul. I turned around... But the witch soul wasn't there.

"Arigato anyways!" I thanked her and we walked back home. Why did it disappear like that? I wondered to myself.
