About a month later, I learned how to take care of myself in these woods, I knew about the guy's life, his name was Ethan, he was 18 years old and lived here since he was 10 because he played with the dimension machine and accidentally sent himself here. He learned how to live and adapt through the years. I now knew how to aim with my arc, how to climb a tree properly, how to light up a fire, how to hunt, plant, defend myself... I didn't even want to go back to my old life, I was happy, if we would be a cosmic adam and eve I wouldn't mind. I couldn't stop thinking about my friends however hard I tried, Ethan promised he'll help me get them here.
Every night I sat down with him next to the lake and stared straight ahead. Usually I would stay silent but I decided to ask him about the creature I saw four weeks ago.
- you know the day we first met, I was running from a creature, it was frightening like it wasn't even real, it was literally supernatural.
He looked at me and said
- I thought everything was supernatural when I first came here. Anyways what is the meaning of supernatural? It just means something that we don't consider normal but we know nothing of this dimension, it's probably a hundred percent normal to see such things.
I thought about that for too long, he was right, as always, but it still frightened me just to think of the look of that beast.
- how did it look like?
- it was tall, red eyed, hairy, big, ginormous teeth.
-never seen that before.
He put his arm on my shoulder and told me not to be worried. And I wasn't, I was calm and relaxed. I got up and went to bed.
