Sisters of the Hunt

Sam was bleeding, close to bleeding out. Phoebe was rushing around yelling at everyone. Thalia and I glanced at each other.

"Lady Artemis. A Hunter got attacked and desperately needs a gods help. We know you're stuck in Delos, but if you could send something please," Thalia calls. Thalia normally did the talking did things like this. If we had to send the Hunters to war, she was more the motivational speeches leader and I was the 'get your asses into shape' leader.

Phoebe looked at Thalia like she was crazy. "Lady Artemis is stuck on Delos."

I look at her. "That doesn't mean she can't send help."

Just then there were footsteps outside the tent. Two hunters walked in with a 14 year old girl. The girl looked at the circlets on Thalia and I's heads. {is circlets the thing? It's the thing Zoë wears to show she's lieutenant} "I am the daughter of Asclepius. Lady Artemis sent me to help your friend and be a Hunter."

Thalia shoots Phoebe an 'I told you so' look. I say to the girl, "you can heal her?"

"Yes."

"Do it."

We watch as the girl steps over and heals Sam. Sam rolls over, asleep, but she stops bleeding and the wound heals up just by the girl touching her. The girl looks at us, "may I sit down?"

"Yes of course. Your name?"

"Scarlett. I want to be a Hunter."

I look at Thalia. This is her part of the job. Thalia nods at Scarlett, and Scarlett takes the vow of a huntress.

"I'm sorry." Sam and I are alone, and I feel I need to apologize, because it's my fault she got her.

"Ki, it doesn't hurt."

"Ki? That's a new one?"

She laughs. "It felt natural."

"No. I like it. Ki..."

"What?"

"I know this is stupid, but that name makes me worry about mg friends. On the Argo II."

"How so?"

"When I first met Percy, we hated each other. But then I 'met' Percy again at the Roman camp," I looked down at my SPQR tattoo. "And he was friendly with me. Like he knew me but didn't. And he just called me Ki. And now he calls me that."

"Oh."

She looks at me again, looks at my tattoo and necklace. "You were at Camp Half Blood first though, right?"

"Yeah. Well actually, I found Camp Half Blood while I was looking for Thalia. And then when I got there, Chiron, a centaur  told me that she was a tree. I was in pain emotionally. And I pleaded with my father, Zeus, to let me join her wherever she was. And apparently, with her being a plant and all, was somewhere between life and death. So my father made me into a plant that only grows around the kind of tree that Thalia was made into. But that was all at Camp Half Blood. Then when Thalia had the Golden fleece put on her in tree form, and it brought her back, it also brought me back as well. And then later, I discovered Camp Jupiter. When Percy got amnesia, I was there and we kind of met again. Oh, and I became a Hunter right after the lieutenant before me and Thalia, Zoë died."

"Wow."

"Do I'm part of all three in a way. Camp Half Blood, Camp Jupiter, and the Hunters of Artemis."

"Yeah, but which would you give your life for?"

"All three of them."

A/n: short chapter, but I wanted to get the whole backstory in. Also I did the whole backstory with voice typing thing, and it said 'when Thalia had the Golden feet put on her ass in titi form' so that got me cracking up. Tell me if you like this, and anything you want to see.
