I run up to the camp, I heard called Camp Half Blood. I had also hear that my sister was here. And possibly, my brother. I run, glancing at the tall pine tree that I run past. My sister was important, not the elegant pine tree.
A centaur waits for me there. He nods to me. "I'm Chiron."
I nod. "I know. I've heard."
"Who are you?"
"Me? I'm Kiara. Daughter of-" I get cut off as a glowing lightning bolt appears above my head. I'm pleased that my father claimed me, so nobody thinks I'm lying when I tell them my father is the king of the gods. "-Zeus," I finish.
He nods, and I'm assuming he already knew that. So I ask something I already know the answer to. "Is my sister here?"
Expecting a yes, I already start asking where. So when Chiron says, "Kind of." I startle.
"What do you mean 'kind of'?"
"See, your sister arrived with two demigod companions. Annabeth Chase and Luke Castellan. Also a satyr, Grover. They were pursued by lots of enemies. Sent by Lord Hades. They were running for the boarders of camp. Your sister told them to go ahead. Thalia fought as long as she could, but-"
I choke down a sob as I say, "They killed her. That's what you meant when you said 'kind of'. She's buried here."
Chiron shook his head. "No. Your father took pity on her and turned her into a pine tree. That pine tree actually."
I let out the pent up sobs and ran to the tree. Away from Chiron, away from everything. I knelt down and sobbed for who knows how long.
After a while, I noticed a little girl with blonde hair and gray eyes behind me. I choked back my tears and patted the ground. "Come sit."
She walks over to me, but doesn't sit down. "I'm sorry."
"What are you sorry for?"
"Your sister."
"Oh."
She wipes a tear falling from her eyes. "I'm Annabeth. Daughter of Athena."
I hadn't realized Thalia's travel companions were so little. This little girl couldn't be more than 7 or 8. "How old are you?"
"I'm 7."
"Is the other one, Luke, this young?"
Annabeth smiles slightly. "No. Luke is your age."
"Who's his parent?"
"He's a son of Hermes."
I nod. Annabeth finally sits down, and I smile. "Annabeth, I want you to know. It wasn't your fault. There was nothing you could've done. They would've killed you too. Alright?"
"But I can fight."
I grin at the little girls confidence. "I have no doubt, daughter of Athena. You probably are smarter than even my father. But, tons of Hellhounds against one little seven year old, however smart she is? You wouldn't have survived."
Annabeth looks at me. "You remind me of Thalia."
"She is my twin."
"Will you stay?"
"I don't think so. I think I'll join her."
"I don't think you can."
"Why not?"
"I don't think she's dead. Zeus saved her right before she died, so she wouldn't die right?"
"Yeah."
"Then there would be no point. I still think there's a way to bring her back. Zeus wouldn't let her die, would he?"
"Maybe not. But I still want to join her."
Annabeth doesn't contradict me. She doesn't hold me back. She just nods. "How?"
"I still have a favor from my father to cash in."
"What will you be?"
"I don't know. Maybe, a new kind of plant. A Kria plant. It will only grow on pine trees. My father and Demeter will come up with something. They always do. Get me back alright? Get us back together."
"Promise."
[Just to note: that was all a dream.]
A/n: question; were you curious how she and Thalia are still twins? Cause now you know. Just so you know, I don't think a Kria plant is a real thing. Look it up if you want to though. If it is, comment.
