Paul's pov

Its almost Christmas and I'm super excited.Baby on the way,presents,family,baked goods!My Mom was taking me to a doctor's appointment to check on the baby.I was waiting in the waiting room with my mom.The doctor is a little inexperienced,but she was good.

"Paul"Dr.Fields said."You can come in"Dr.Fields said.I got up and my Mom followed.We went in."How have you been these past couple of weeks?"Dr.Fields asked."Tired,nauseous-"Dr.Fields cut me off."Morning sickness?"She questioned."I feel better when I drink ginger ale"I said.

"Okay"Dr.Fields said writing stuff down."Okay lift up your shirt and lay back and relax"She said.I chuckled."Relax?That's probably the worst thing you can say to a person who is pregnant"I said as she squirted some gel on my stomach."Ooh that's really cold"I shivered."Sorry"Dr.Fields said.She placed a wand on my stomach.

"And there's your baby"Dr.Fields said."Look how tiny"I said."That's the head"I gasped."It's so perfect"I smiled."Hi"I said."I must sound like a crazy person"I said."No it's normal to want to talk to your baby,no one will judge you"Dr.Fields said."Hi baby,your so tiny and your such a special baby,even if you don't know it yet"I said.Dr.Fields turned on something."And there's the little heartbeat"It was an incredible sound.

"He...or she is beautiful,perfect,beautiful,perfect,just beautiful and perfect"I repeated myself alot."I'm a little nervous"I said."Your carrying another human being of course your nervous!"My Mom said.Looking at the baby,it made me so happy.I can't wait to show Danny.

We aren't doing too good,but we are meeting up at starbucks to talk.An hour of talking and learning about the baby and what I shouldn't do during pregnancy and what I should do during pregnancy.It was interesting.Starbucks was a couple blocks away so I decided to walk while my Mom went home.

It was a five minute walk and I saw Danny nervous."So"I said started off sitting down."So"Danny said."What have you decided about this little one?"I smiled looking at down at my flat stomach."I hope he has your smile,and your hair,well our hair,and I hope he has your eyes"Danny said.

"So?"I questioned."I want to be apart of our baby's life"Danny said."Yay!"I said in a high-pitched voice."I know you can't feel anything,but..."I trailed on taking his hand.Their were three chairs.I sat in the middle so I could place Danny's hand on my flat bump."I always knew you would have a kid young,you're just so good with kids,but I didn't think you would have one with me"Danny said.

"Neither did"I replied."Boy or girl?"I asked."What?"Danny asked."Do you want a little boy or girl?"I asked."Girl...maybe"Danny said."I have a feeling"I said."And that feeling is?"Danny questioned."That it's a boy"I said."Should we date?"Danny asked."Don't know"I said.

"Should we kiss?"Danny asked."I feel like we should kiss"Danny said."Me too"I said."Should we kiss?"Danny asked again."I mean-maybe"I said.I got close,it was an awkward kiss.We pulled apart."Son,that was your Daddy and I kissing,and hopefully you will never see something as awkward as that was"Danny said making me laugh.

"It could be a girl"I said."Okay Daughter-"I cut him off."I'm pretty sure the baby heard it the first time"I said smiling."I'm going to hold our baby so tight"I said."The baby could come around your birthday"Danny said."Jackson?"Danny questioned."Basic"I told him.

"I like the name Jordan Joseph Zimmer-Edge"I said."For a boy?"He questioned."Yeah"I said in a sarcastic tone."And for a girl Jordan Josephina Zimmer-Edge"I said."Beautiful"Danny said."I have to ask,but if something goes wrong with the pregnancy and with the baby,will you run?Will you be there for our little boy or girl?Will you be there for me?"I asked.

"I'll try"Danny said."Well...that isn't good enough"I said."You are either ready and strong enough to be there for our baby and I or you aren't ready all and you can't deal,so pick one,and nothing in between"I said."Then I pick to be there and to be strong 'cause I know I have it in me"Danny said.

"I'm scared"I confessed to him."I know I don't look it,but I'm really scared"I said.I felt a warm tear slipped my face."Stupid pregnancy hormones"I said wiping my watery eyes."It's okay,I get it,I'm scared too,although I could run from it and you can't so maybe I don't understand"Danny said.

"I may or may not have picked something up for you,well not you,but for the baby"Danny said handing me a bag."You didn't have to,I'm at 12 weeks,and miscarriages are likely"I said."Well I wanted to and you deserved something nice"Danny said and I smiled."You can open if you want"Danny said and I did so."A penguin!"I cheered."And Koala!"I said."There's something else in there...my mom picked it out,I just picked out the stuffed animals"I nodded.

"Daddy's biggest fan!"I said reading the onesie."Yeah it's stupid-"I cut him off."I think it's adorable"I said."Why,yes I actually am the cutest baby ever"I loved these onesie."It's adorable"I said."It's fucking cute"I said."I love you to the moon and back"I read another one."Three adorable onesies and two cute plush toys"I said putting the stuff back in the bag.

"Yeah I can be a romantic"Danny said drinking his starbucks."Let me guess,Pumpkin Spice Latte?"I asked and he nodded."You want a sip?"I shook my head.

"I'm pregnant I'm not supposed to be drinking coffee,I mean a certain amount,but I don't want to risk anything"I said."Your a brave man"Danny said.

"That kiss-"Danny cut me off."Didn't feel right?"He asked and I nodded."I want Jordan to have a proper family"I said."Me too"Danny said."But we're not together,together together"I said meaning we weren't in a relationship.

"We shouldn't have had sex"Danny said."We shouldn't,but we did and I'm having this amazing miracle"I said."Are you going to be there?For the labor and delivery?"I asked him."Yeah of course,I'm going to watch you push out the head and the shoulders and the body,and the arms and the legs...although it might be gross"I gave him a shocked face.

"Okay it'll be beautiful,but strange,different,awkward"Danny didn't know how to describe it."I understand"I chuckled drinking the hot chocolate Danny got me before hand...He texts me he was there and got me some.

"What about for all the breathing and birthing classes?"I asked."We aren't seriously doing that?"Danny went wide eyed."Yes!If I'm giving birth,I want to be prepared"I said."Are we reading the birthing books and pregnancy books and baby books?"Danny asked."Yes!"I said."I want to be prepared for everything"Danny got scared.

"What happens if you like give birth in a car,or a supermarket,or store,or something?"I laughed at him."I'm not giving birth in a supermarket you idiot!"I laughed."What?You could!"Danny said and I was shaking my head.

"That is very unlikely,I truly want to just give birth in a hospital"I said."Goals right"I giggled again."Yeah,I think that's most people's goals"I said."You know that show on TV...I forget what network,but there's show where it shows crazy births"I looked at him."Oh um...Outrageous Births!"I said."How did you know what its called?"Danny asked."Well now that I'm pregnant I like watching shows that tell me what's going on with my baby,continue"I said.

"Well there was this woman who gave birth in the woods,not because she had too,because she wanted too!"Danny said."Well I'm not giving birth in the woods so you don't have to worry about that"I said laughing hysterically.
