Chapter 11

4 Weeks later

Paul's pov

I overheard my parents fighting from my room.I got a pain in my stomach."Ow"I said rubbing my bump.10 minutes later I got another pain."Ow"I said.It went away after a few minutes.10 minutes later,I got a bad pain.I think I'm going into labor.

I went down stairs."Mom!"I tried to break them up from fighting."Not now"She said continuing her sentence."Mom!"I said."Not now!"She yelled fighting with my dad."Mom!"I tried to get through to her."Not-"My water broke.

"Whoa"I said nervously.Danny was at his house and I'm a little scared."Oh my god"She rushed to me."Breathe"She smiled sitting me on the couch."Breathe-Get the bags upstairs and get him some new pants"My Mom ordered.

"Ow"I said getting a contraction."Breathe,In and Out"My Mom said and I did so.My Dad came with two hospital bags."Let's go"He said.I tried to get up,it hurt alot."Call Danny!"I said,not breathing."Breathe sweety,I know it hurts,but breathe"My Mom said.

Mom placed me in the front seat.I clutched my stomach.Dad was driving and Mom held my hand.She called Danny and put him on speaker."Danny-"I let out a shierk."Paul,What's wrong?"He questioned."My water broke"I said rubbing my bump."Ow,it hurts,it hurts"I said."Okay um I'll meet you at the hospital"Danny said.

"Just keep breathing and I'll be there as soon as I can!"Danny said.

Dad pulled in the front door,someone took his car to park it."Hold on to me"I nodded grabbing his shoulder.I saw Stephanie,my favorite Nurse."Ah"I said getting another contraction."Paul"She jumped helping me."Okay breathe,breathe your doing great,how far apart are the contractions?"She asked."Like 8,7 minutes"I said."Okay,Did you water break?"She asked wheeling me to a room."Yeah that's how I knew to come in"I said.

"I want Danny"I said."I know,he's on his way"My Mom said."And my siblings?"I asked."On their way"Dad said."Ah"I said."I can't do it,not without Danny"I started panicking."Breathe,you're not having the baby now,I don't think you're fully dialated,I will have Dr.Herman check you"Nurse Stephanie said.

"Okay"I took deep breaths.

Danny's pov

I was running through the hospital,completely lost.I'm pretty sure I'm in the wrong area."Excuse me"A short woman said."Hi!"I said."Is everything okay?"She asked."Um my boyfriends in labor"I said."And I don't know where to go"I said."I'm Dr.Bailey,let's see if I can help you"She smiled at me.

"What's your boyfriend's name?"She asked."Paul,Paul Zimmer"I said."Okay"She smiled typing something on her ipad."He's in the West Wing,third floor,room 109"Dr.Bailey said."Where's that?"I asked."I'm free so I'll take you"I smiled.

"I'm going to be a Daddy"I thought."Should I get him something?Like flowers or?"I asked her."No,just be there for him"Dr.Bailey said and we made it to the maternity section.It was very pink.

"Room 109 right there"She pointed out.

Paul's pov

"Ah"I let out a scream."Your 5 centimeters looks like you've been laboring all morning"Dr.Herman said.Danny came in."Danny"I cried out."I'm right here"He kissed my forehead."Do you want anything for the pain?"I shook my head."He's sick,I'm not drugging him too"I said.

"Take my hand"Danny said and I did."It hurts really bad"I said."I know,I know,what can I do?"Danny asked."Make it go away"I cried."It hurts so bad"Danny sat behind me and started massaging my back."Ice chips"I pouted with my puppy dog face."Okay"He said going to the table next to me and taking the cup with the ice chips in them.

He put one in my mouth.I cruntched it."Breathe in and out you can do it"Danny encouraged."I'm not ready,I'm scared,I'm afraid,I'm terrifed,I'm not ready"I started panicking."Deep breaths take my other hand if you need to I'm right here"Danny said.
