"Talia??" Tom shouted as he knocked on her bedroom door.
No reply. As usual.
"Talia please, talk to me." He called out.
Still no reply.
"Talia....please, I'm sorry. Can you just let me know you're okay. That's all I need."
Nothing.
"Okay, have it your way. I'll be downstairs if you need me."
He went to knock again but hesitated, she wouldn't answer. He knew that. He decided it would be best to leave it and leave her alone, he went downstairs and headed into the garden. They had a little summer house at the end of the garden with a little decking bit attached. He sat on the small sofa that was placed near the edge and looked up at Talia's window. He couldn't see but she was staring out of it, looking at him. A single tear rolled down her face as she looked at him, she loved him she really did....but recently her feelings were beginning to fade and she didn't know what to do.
"Tom." She said quietly. "I can't do this to you, I can't keep shutting you away."
She began crying and collapsed to the floor, she couldn't live with this pain building up inside her but she also didn't want to put that pain on him.
"I love you Tom, I always have." She said through the tears.
"I know you have..." a voice said from the other side of the room.
She looked up to see him standing there, but it wasn't actually him. It was the Tom she fell in love with, he looked exactly how he did when she first met him. Short brown hair that was slicked to the side, cheap clothes, tiny boots, that familiar cute smile she absolutely adored.
"You're not here, you're not real." She denied.
"I am real, this version anyway, but I'm just a figment of your imagination. I'm actually in the garden waiting for you to come talk to me so we can figure this out, together." He told her and he kneeled down in-front of her.
"I don't want to hurt him, I'm scared I'm gonna lose him. I can't lose him, not now."
"Why not now?"
"You know why..."
A few days prior, Talia had told Tom she was pregnant. He was happy of course but not long after he began overthinking everything, he began getting frightened and released that all on Talia without taking into consideration how she felt about this whole situation.
