It was the middle of September and it was a pretty quiet day for Simon, so far anyway. He was just finishing his third period, maths, and headed down to the school field for lunch. Him and his friends always sat at the far end of the field so they wouldn't be disturbed by anyone, they'd occasionally join in on the games of football most of the boys played but as a little year 7....Simon and his friends were intimidated by them all so tended to stay away. Just like any other day, they sat there eating their lunch whilst chatting but they were suddenly distracted by this boy coming over to them who was also followed by a large group of people. They couldn't see who it was but once he got closer everyone jumped up apart from Simon, he was waiting for this.
"OI Simon!!!" The boy shouted at him, Simon didn't seem at all intimidated.
"Hello there Olajide." He replied with a small smile before going back to eating his sandwich.
JJ grabbed the sandwich and threw it before grabbing Simon by the collar, picking him up and throwing him to the floor harshly.
"PUNCH HIM JJ!!!" One of the boys from the crowd shouted.
"Oh, I'm gonna do much more." He replied with a smirk.
Simon knew he was going to get beat up heavily by JJ but he didn't dare fight back because he knew if he did than he'd be in worse shape at the end of it if he didn't.
"Go on, do your worse." Simon told him as he just laid there on the floor.
JJ looked at him and was about to throw a punch but decided to slap him instead, he didn't want to damage his face but did want to teach him a lesson...about something he couldn't even remember. He knelt down and slapped him multiple times as the crowd cheered bringing attention to the action that was appearing at the back of the field.
"Go on JJ mess him up!!" Another kid shouted from the crowd.
He grabbed his collar again and picked him up so he would stand up to properly face him, Simon looked weak but that was mainly due to his already slim figure. JJ didn't know what to do next so he decided to go full out and punch him, he hit a hard blow across his face which caused Simon to stumble backwards into the crowd so they pushed him back towards JJ which caused him to fall onto his hands and knees.
"Come on then, get up!!" JJ demanded as he pulled him up by his collar again.
Simon stood up with his back hunched and looked at JJ, his eyes were almost half closed and his vision was slightly blurry but he could still see where he was.
