Scars {dream x oc} COMPLETE!

the woods

"Melody i liked the kiss but-" it was his turn to get interrupted.

"You dont like me like that. I get it." Melody started to swim away but was pulled back by her wrist.

"No its not that-" Dream interrupted himself this time when he felt the scars on her wrists.  "Melody...are you okay?" He said as his eyes wandered from hers to her wrists.

Melody quickly pulled her arm away when she realized what just happened. "yeah..." She swam away this time not being held back by someone pulling her back. She made her way out of the pool and quickly put on the Oversized t-shirt she was wearing over the lace top. and ran off into the woods surrounding Wils house. It was around midnight so it was really dark now.

She felt dizzy from the alcohol so she stumbled over a few twigs and roots from the trees. Until she eventually leaned agains a tall tree and slid down its side, until she sat on the cold, wet forest floor.

"Melody i liked the kiss but-" Dream was interrupted.

"You dont like me like that.I get it." Melody started to swim away but he grabbed her arm and pulled her back. He wanted to tell her but she was drunk so she probably wouldn't even remember what happened.

"No its not that-" He stoped when he felt the scars on her wrists. "Melody...are you okay?" he couldn't think about loosing her.

He wanted her to be happy and to stay with him. He wanted her to know what she made him feel. How a simple smile form her could melt him. (HA!) Melody pulled her arm from his grasp she mumbled something but Dream couldn't make out a single word. She swam away. this time she wasn't stoped by him because he was so deep in thought he didn't even realize she was gone until Sapnap came up besides him.

"What did you say to her?" Sapnap asked as he put a hand on the blonds shoulder. "Dream?" Sapnap pulled him out of his thoughts.

Dream looked at the raven haired male next to him "Nothing I just... I don't think... Where is Niki?" He said as he looked around the pool for the short girl.

Dream saw her standing next to Wilbur talking about something. "Niki. I need your help." He said quickly when he arrived next to her.

"uh sure what is it Dream?" Niki asked with a smile.

"What can I do to make Melody happy?" He asked sounding almost desperate.

"oh I don't know. maybe go to a library with her or watch one of those extremely unrealistic romcoms. she likes to make fun of those when she's sad. why?" Niki said giving Dream an idea what to do.

Dream then saw Sapnap walking out of the pool running after Melody. Dream knew they were like siblings so he trusted him.

Sapnap ran through the woods looking for Melody. He knows when she gets overwhelmed she goes into the forest and sits down to focus on the sounds, the smell and her breathing. after a while of searching he found her sobbing o the ground. He sat down next to her and put a hand on her back.

"Pleas go away Bad. I don't want to talk." She mumbled without looking up.

"Good thing im not Bad." Sapnap said letting out a sigh. Melody looked up at him and tackled him in a hug sobbing.

"I fucked up. I rely fucked up." She said between sobs. Sapnap traced comforting circles on her back.

"You didn't fuck up anything. I promise." Melody looked up at his eyes when he said that.

"I did." She said pulling away from the hug and looking at her arm.

Sapnap looked at her arm and then covered the scars with his hand. Melody looked back at him with tears in her eyes. Sapnap gave her a weak smile. "Please when somethings wrong or stuff like that, talk to me. I'm here for you, you know." She nodded and went back to hugging him tightly.
