Getting dressed I made my way to the kitchen to make some toast and scrambled eggs. I'm no master chief, not even close I burn everything I make. Well I can say I'm getting better, throwing out the eggs and toast. I make my way to a small coffee shop a few blocks down the road. I ordered a doughnut and a cup of coffee, then headed to the bank. There is no point in driving on such a beautiful day. The perks of living in town everything is in walking distance of my house.

When I arrived at work, a few employees where counting up the money for the morning counts. D.P. Bank has tightened our security measures ever since the incident. It was a huge loss for this branch, and that criminal is still out and about. I also got my concealed carry just in case. The next time I see him I'm going to hurt him so bad. He prayed on my emotions and played me. It was all for money. A scam.

The day went as normal. A few people came in through the morning. We were slammed at noon, then back down to a few people here and there. That's when Nicolas Gunn came in.

"Hello Nicolas, how is your day going?" I said in a sweet tone and smile on my face.

"Another day at the office," he said laughing. "I got the promotion I was talking to you about."

"Wow, Congratulations!" I exclaimed, expressing true happiness for him. "I'm so glad to hear that, Nicolas." I never realized how handsome Nicolas was. His eyes looking into mine.

"Yeah, I've been working really hard to get it and I did." he continued.

"Well, you do your job well!" I said losing my train of thought.

"I would like to withdraw six hundred dollars please." he tries to hands me his ID. I declined because I knew who he was and that he wasn't some "yahoo" withdrawing money. I started to withdraw the money as he talked to me about a party he was having.

"Are you busy tomorrow evening? I'm inviting some friends of mine to a party and I would like it if you came."

"Of course! I wouldn't miss it... actually, I can't make it." I said realizing I had plans to babysit my friends kids tomorrow evening. I usually baby sat during the week after my shift at the bank, but this week they needed me during the weekend.

"Why not?" he asked.

"I've just remembered I already have plans. I'm sorry!" I said handing him the money.

"Well, if you decide to not have plans, come on out to Camp Jungle Woods." he insisted.

"I will!" I replied.

Closing up the bank I set the alarms and headed back home. I thought about his offer. I like him a lot but I can't just tell him how I feel. I doubt he feels the same way about me anyways. My phone rang right as soon as I entered the door.

"Hello." I answered. It was the family saying that they didn't need me to babysit there kids tomorrow because there plans fell through. I tried to seem upset, but I was happy because now I was able to make the party. They apologized, then hung up.

I sat down in my kitchen with my laptop in front of me. Looking through my Facebook I found some really nice recipes, though I would never make. Soon my eyes started to get drowsy and I found myself asleep. I hadn't woke the whole night because when I finally did, my head was lying on my dead laptop with drool down my face. This was not the first time I had waken this way and it probably won't be my last.

My schedule that day was the same as the previous day. Went to the coffee shop, went to work, then home. Once home I got dressed and ready to head to Nicolas's party.

I've never been to Camp Jungle Wood, but I heard it is a beautiful camp and the lake view is astonishing. Today though was cloudy and fog was rolling in. That made everything look groggy, especially the camp. I arrived at six twenty and the first person to come up to me was the Artist. He looked really familiar. I soon realized who he was. His demeanor, gestures, and physic. It was that con-man. I could recognize him from everywhere. He is such a charmer, very handsome.

I wrote a letter, wanting to meet him in the boat house. Placing it in his back pocket I walked on by. The letter read, "Meet me at 7:30pm. Boat house. It's urgent. I have to warn you!" Turning around and glancing I see him reach into his back pocket and open it to read.

I decided not to meet him and just stayed at the party till about around ten. I went to bed and woke up to the news of Nicolas. Tears rushing down my face realizing he was dead and I knew exactly who did it.

"That dirty con-man. Maybe if I would have met with him Nicolas would not have been murdered." I said crying.

"I understand you are upset Miss Kossel." said Detective Chevalier with a weird look on his face. "I know he was a good friend. It's hard to lose someone you care about."

"Yes, and that artist is the one who did it, I just know it!" I whaled. "Please, find out who killed him. But that artist is not at all who you think he is."

"I will ma'am, the pieces are definitely coming together." he said. "I just have a few more pieces of this puzzle that just does not make since. Although in time they will. They always do."

"Thank you! I really do appreciate your work detective." I said.

"Be careful on your way back to your cabin Mrs. Kossel the fog is getting worse. soon we won't be able to see anything I suppose." he said as he kept jotting down notes.

"I will detective. Thank you again." I replied rushing towards the door back to my cabin.
