S-Class Requirements

Seishin's POV

Hiraku pumped his fist into the air. "WOOO! FISHING!" He hollered. Akira followed him, yelling "WE'RE GONNA CATCH FISH". As much as I hate using magic on people outside of combat, Hiraku Ghiest is hard to read. He's amazing at lying, which is unnecessary, why would anybody need to lie?

I have to get away from these girls, His thoughts said. By these girls who did Hira-chan mean? After I looked around I understood. His older brother was trying to kiss him, a new guild member was clingy, who knew what Irene was doing.

Savin put his arm around his shoulder which looked strange. Hiraku being the taller and leaner man. The fat man chortles then punches him on the back of his head. "What makes you wanna come this year, chump?"

"Man, I've always wanted to be with you two. Y'all never invited me"

Lies, his thoughts said otherwise. "Lets go before he changes his mind" Akira said pulling on those two by the collar.

Ruby holds her skinny arm out and says "Hiraku" weakly. Before he lets himself leave he reaches into his shirt and throws some keys which the short girl catches in that same hand. "If I don't come back after 8 go back home. Got it?"

She stuffed those house keys into her pants pocket. "Got it!" She calls before he disappears behind the guild door. "His house keys..." Irene says weakly, almost a little creepily. Almost like a stalker, but what does Seishin know?

"Hiwakuuuuu" Orion sobs a minute after his little brother leaves. "What's wrong with Ori-er... Master" Ruby fumbles. "House keys." Irene says again.

"Oh, this?" I pulled the limp, drunk master by the collar who still wiped away tears. "This fool got drunk last night. Right when master had to announce this years S-class qualifiers"

Irene's face lit up when she heard "S-class".

"Finally!" She squealed. I smiled. After 5 straight years of Hira-chan and Akira-chan tying and delaying any new S-class wizards, this would be Irene's chance.

"I guess Seishin has to take the reins for today. As the person who's been in this guild the longest. Seishin doesn't understand why she's not master" I explained. Orion definitely earned his spot as master, if Orion didn't it's clear who would be the current master. Savin, but after that, Bresh, then Seishin!

"Sei, who're these "S-class" qualifiers?" Ruby asks.

"They're wizards that prove their strength to take special quests. These quests are called S-class quests. Job that bring you inches away from death if you make the most minuscule mistake."

"I see... So these S-class wizards in this guild are deciding whether or not to have me in the guild?"

"Correct" I answered while Irene rolls her eyes slightly. "And. They're pretty badass" her eyes shoot at Irene's to acknowledge that fact.

"Anyway, the exams are happening about a month from now. Does Ruby Have any questions?"

"Let's see..." Ruby throws herself into a deeper thought. One that I could feel. "How are they selected?" She asks

"In famous guilds they're picked by choosing 8 people who did the best in jobs. But things work a little differently in Black Hydra"

"How does it work here?" Ruby asked with interest.

"Black Hydra is a huge guild. It'd be too hard to figure out who did the best in jobs. So we have sign up for anybody who wants to be be a potential S-class wizard and those people compete in a Battle Royal where the last 8 people standing are the 8 people who would take the exams"
