Orion's POV
For the first time since yesterday, I guess I have to talk to people. Ever since my younger brother left with his past lover yesterday it was hard to face anybody. Hiraku is the type of man who'd seek help by telling somebody else an having the other person help him, and normally that person is either the loud mouths like Akira or Goro. And then one thing leads to the next, and then everybody knows I hit my younger brother.
I could've done better, I at least should've told him to keep quiet because Hiraku is trustworthy of the past. Even if it was Seishin's, she'd learn to trust him again.
Somebody knocked and opened the door before I could tell them to go away. "Yo, Orion" an older man said. Savin came up with a glass of wine and one glass, probably for me then sat down right in front of me.
He put that one glass down and started to pick at the cork with his fingernails. "You know, I didn't steal this" he said randomly with a smirk. "I bought it". Savin started to pull harder until it slipped out of his hands and flew up.
I caught it before it could start falling then picked the cork out with my sword. "Thanks bud" he said then gently took the bottle from my hands.
"Any news about Ruby?" I asked as he put the bottle to his nose. "Uh, I have me, what's-his-face, and Akira for her being accepted" he took a sniff and bounced back from the strength. "Seishin and Hiraku haven't decided yet"
Hiraku, what would he think about a new member?
"Any clues for what Seishin might be thinking?" I asked as he started to pour a glass. "She's going to vote when Hiraku does. You know that woman, she's suspicious because Ruby did a good thing"
Right, the first thing that girl did was patch up the holes in the ceiling while Akira was on her phone. "Seriously, this voting thing is a pain in the ass. Why couldn't you decide yourself?" He asked then swigged a gulp from the wine bottle.
Oh course I couldn't tell him. "Well, I just hit my brother and I still don't have the mental state to make decisions" which was one half of my reason for having the S-classes vote. I told him the other half of the truth.
"I'm trusting Seishin to make a good choice" I said. Sure, it was a dumb decision because all it took was one person to not like the new girl for her not to be accepted. But no matter what I could trust Seishin to make the right choice to know if the new girl is a trustworthy person.
"Well, damn Orion. Don't tell me you're getting all mushy for cotton candy girl"
"Don't call her by that name Savin. You don't know how she has her hair color"
"Yeah, I dunno. But lighten up a little, wasn't that the pornstar name you had for her?"
I smiled a little bit at the inside joke we used to have. Seishin wasn't really involved with that sort of stuff, heavens forbid. It was a joke all three of us made with each other. "No, that was your pornstar name for her. Mine was bubblegum-"
"So that the guy blowing her would be blowing bubblegum" we said in unison. He laughed freely and slapped me on the shoulder. I couldn't prevent myself from snickering either. "Never thought you'd say that again, Master-hardass" Savin laughed.
"Like I'd forget that. Fatass" I took his hand off my shoulder and turned the light on. Damned candlelight in the darkness was starting to blind me. "I'm gonna check up on everybody" I said standing up.
"Hiraku and Irene are back" he said while swirling the cup of wine that was now halfway full. I sat back down slowly. "If Sei is worried, tell her that I'm sure Irene didn't lose her virginity to Hira"
