Meliodas waved at the two Druid sisters. "Thanks for everything, Jenna. You too, Zaneri."

"Feel free to visit us anytime you want. And bring Ban with you, too," Jenna replied.

"Cool! Hey, where'd Theo go?"

"He's taking a nap."

"Are you serious?" Hawk jumped in. "Jeez, what a baby!"

Lady Zaneri stepped forward. "Meliodas, I-"

My brother tilted his head. "What's the matter?"

She looked downcast. "Never mind, it's okay."

"I know exactly how you feel," Meliodas said.

I turned to him. Was he playing a game with her? We all knew he and Elizabeth were together, sort of.

But he was looking at Elizabeth, unaware that his comment was misinterpreted. Boys were truly clueless.

"So try not to let it get you down, okay?" he said to her, petting her head in sympathy.

I looked at Zaneri in pity, shaking my head and smiling sympathetically at her.

"But if everything keeps going at this rate, I'll never be useful to you or anybody," Elizabeth replied, looking down.

"Elizabeth," Gilthunder said sadly.

"You're the one who saved all of us during the battle of Liones, and that's a fact. I'll bet there's a power in you that hasn't even been tapped into yet. So who cares about one or two failures?" Meliodas reassured her. "I mean, look at how many times I couldn't keep my own wrath under control."

Elizabeth smiled. "Right!" She took Meliodas' hands in her own. "In that case, if you're truly willing to believe in someone like me, then I won't ever complain again!"

Jenna walked to Hendrickson. "The road to redemption won't be an easy one, but don't lose sight of who you are."

"Right," he replied.

"Thank you for everything," I smiled.

She hummed. "Now go out there and save the world!"

We waved, and then walked out of the pillar we came through. Suddenly the land was plain again.

We walked for a while, then stopped near a cliff.

Meliodas stretched out. "What I wouldn't give for a drink right now."

"Oh, come on, Sir Meliodas," Elizabeth giggled.

I sat down on the grass, crossing my legs and feeling the cool breeze. My hands went to the grass, as I plucked strand after strand. It felt good to be strong again. At the very least it was nice not looking into Zeldris' smug face and feeling helpless. And I hadn't even faced Estarossa yet...

"Meliodas, Prelialduis. Is it true you two battled the Ten Commandments?" Gilthunder asked.

I looked up at him.

"Yeah, just a little sparring, that's all," Meliodas replied.

He looked at them closer. "Hey, not bad! You guys powered up too, huh?"

"Hear that, Howzer?" Gilthunder looked at his buddy.

"Yeah, but the thing is, it still doesn't feel real to me at all," Howzer said.

Hawk walked over to us. "In that case, I'd better take a look."

He watched the two intently. "Little Gil, yours went from 1,970 to 2,330. Howzer, from 1,910 to 2,350."
