“Wa...wake...wake...Jedai...Jed...”
The words were garbled and he quite familiar with the words. He was surprised he could still remember how to think, to talk, to process anything. His arms, big and bulgy, were heavy when he had dragged them through the thick hot sand and the sun was like a hammer beating him down but not as badly as what he had done, well...that was all he could remember. Why was he wandering through the desert? Is it the desert? Why does it feel like there's a hole in his heart and head?
“Jedai...Jedai wake...Jedai...”
The voice was more persistent and rather irritating. His brain started to kick him, trying to tell him something. Should he know this voice? It's starting to sound familiar but not in a good way. Maybe he should just stay in the darkness around him, it's warm and comforting here. Yet his curiosity got the best of him. He tried to wake up but it seemed impossible but the more he moved closer to the sound the more familiar it became, the more he felt awake. “Cordan?” he said, surprised he could speak. At least he recall a name and match it to the voice. What did he say again? Yes, he did, he remember him. A face. Cordan's face.
“Wake up, come on now,”
Cordan. He was stilling to fill pins and needles in his fingers and toes, everything felt hot, incredibly hot, especially his forehead for some reason. His vision was terrible, almost everything was incredibly bright to the point where it almost hurt. He heard a weird beeping sound coming from somewhere, getting more and more rapid. His arms stretched outward, getting heavier and heavier, his eyes refocusing to a man in a black suit, short black hair, pale skin, and bright red eyes pressing his fingers to his forehead. “Wake your ass up, I'm not standing out in the sun any longer,” snapped Cordan. Cordan he thought blinking slowly, staring at him for a long moment. “Can you even hear me? Show me a sign that you are alive,” said Cordan poking his forehead. He blinked a couple times before feeling the world fall, or was he falling? “Maybe I should give you more,” whispered Cordan looking down at him. Yes, he had fallen completely onto his back and no was staring at a big ball of light. The sun, yes the sun. A hand covered his face and he saw nothing but red, his body beginning to tingle all over.
He sat up, his body in pain. “Where...what?” he whispered, his memory a tad bit fuzzy. Cordan stared at him, head tilted. “Do you even remember me?” said Cordan bending down beside him, his head a little woozy. He blinked, trying to think. He knew the guy, and he had a feeling he was supposed to be terrified him, but nothing. So he just shook his head. “Of course, memory loss...well, for now I just need you to get up and start walking,” said Cordan straightening up. He looked down at his legs. They were numb and he couldn't quite feel anything. He wiggled his toes he couldn't himself wiggling them. Suddenly the man grabbed him under the arm and yanked him to his feet which quickly gave out beneath him but the man held him up. “Good god-I'm not wasting time,” said the man. For a few seconds he though the man was just going to leave him into the desert, the hot and horrible desert. Suddenly he was lifted off the ground and tossed over the man's shoulder.
The man moved, incredibly fast with him on his shoulder. Wind was rushing at him, sand pelting him from all sizes. Eventually, the man came to a screeching halt, sliding along the sand before fully stopping. Turning his head he stared at a large gray vehicle, a van he believed with black Plexiglas windows and bolts. “Dad who is he?” said a girls voice. He couldn't quite see anything so he just listened. “This is Jedai, my first, and also the idiot who actually built the last key and hid it," said Cordan. What key? Whatever key you're talking about is probably long gone under the sand, he thought, his eyes growing a little heavy as he was dropped onto something cold, his entire body melting into the ground in relief until he heard a sharp sound and then his cheek began to burn. "How could you build the last piece!? Now because of you they could destroy this entire planet! And don't give me any bull about a new beginning and world," spat a girl with light brown skin and curly dark pinkish red hair glaring down at him. "Behave yourself. At the time he didn't know what he was making from the old diagrams or its true purpose…but when he did he hid the piece somewhere on this bloody planet that even I haven't been able to find and only he can find, then coincidentally I ended up banishing him into the desert and now his memory is botched, so if you want to be angry be angry at me," said Cordan as he slowly sat up, hsi hand reaching to his cheek. He caught sight of his hand and the pain on his cheek disappeared in an instant. His hands were pitch black and shined like metal. On the back was a neon green circle and running along the sides was another neon green line. The colors ran up to his shoulder's, disappearing underneath the rags he wore. "Why are we bringing him then," growled the girl glaring at him. He flinched at her glare, quickly pulling himself into a small ball while Cordan yanked the door closed. "Because now they know he made the key and hid it. Even if they do not find the key they will just come after him and make him make another key. We get to the other key, destroy it, and then-,"
